Its a perfect day to be alive February 15, 2013

We want to start out tonight by praying for those that feel tired from a life of fighting adversity. Those who live everyday in the back of their minds, considering giving up. We are all put in this life for a purpose. A purpose that only God himself, truly understands. We believe that this life IS a test. The object of this spiritual test is to remain fighting. No matter what. Quitting is never an option. Think of each Day as a challenge that you will rise above. Take on each day knowing that no matter how hard it gets, when u think you’ve had enough, stand up and go on. God is teaching each one of us a different lesson. We MUST make it to the other side and NEVER surrender. It is then that we will have learned all that we were put here to learn. God Bless all of Gods children who have have given up before the test was over. Let us not judge those that were in more pain than any of us can imagine. These precious souls are just as important as all of us. Let us not judge until we walk in another mans shoes. God bless them.
Special prayers going out tonight for the elderly, the disabled, the mentally ill and the addicted. These living beings are too often discarded and dismissed. Treat them with patience and always with love in your heart. In Gods eyes, each of his children are beautiful and created exactly as he meant. Treat them as such, always. We remind you once again how important it is to consider those without. So many homeless people and animals go everyday searching for food, warmth and shelter. We pray for them and ask for your prayers as well. It could be any of us. Always do your best to bestow love on those who need it so deeply. Always remember that this is our obligation to do our best to lift someone out of the darkness. We can make a difference. Your voice and your acts of generosity of heart, can change someone’s life. Be thankful for things that money cannot buy. The priceless gifts, family, love. These are the jewels of this life. So many go without them. We pray for their strength and their safety. We pray that they are blessed with love.
Special prayers going out for two beloved family dogs that are missing. Prayers for Jackie Vestal and her lost and very loved Miniature Pinscher. Vestal weighs approx 12 lbs and his markings are Black and Tan. Last seen on Camelot drive on Oklahoma City. We ask God to intervene and bring Maddox home safely. Strong prayers going out as well, for HD, an adorable little Pomeranian that went missing after his parents were in a terrible accident with him in the car. He has been missing since. He was last seen off of 140 in Clinton, Oklahoma. We pray that he is okay and somewhere safe. We pray for his return and for the strength the strength of his family. Extra prayers going out to our friend Molly, now an angel crossing Rainbow Bridge. We know she is somewhere smiling and playing until she is reunited with her loved ones again.
And to all of the beautiful creatures, the animals, wild and domesticated. We pray for you tonight as we do every night. To those being abandoned, abused, neglected and used as bait in barbaric “Sports”, you are not alone. We will never tire of fighting for you. God did not put these innocent creatures here for this. They are here to love and be loved. Nothing else. No lives will go in vain. No pain will go unnoticed. Amen. Goodnight friends. Love, Sammy & Family
Everyday is a great day to Adopt or Rescue a dog or pet. They will bring immediate happiness to your life, you will be saving a life. Win Win. [/pullquote]
Prayers going out tonight to our friend Kathy whose uncle crossed over to the other side. Kathy, you are so right that he is free of pain and in a world so beautiful that it is unimaginable to the mortal mind. We pray for the healing of Kathy and her family and we send blessings tonight for her beloved uncle.
As always we pray for all of the precious animals walking this earth, domestic and wild. May God bless these beautiful creatures. Too many of them are being hunted for sport, abused, abandoned and neglected. God did not put them here to be treated in such a barbaric way. No lives will go in vain, no pain will go unnoticed. Amen. Love, Sammy & Family
Welcome to tonight’s Movie Rewrite. Tonight’s rewrite is the “Field of Dreams.”
Let’s take it from where Shoeless Joe Jackson invites Terrance Mann (James Earl Jones), to head back with them behind the weeds. Each night when the game is over, that’s where the baseball ghosts return to the after life, until the next day. James Earl Jones was thrilled to finally see what all the fuss was about by the baseball ghosts, once they passed through the weeds each night.
Ray Kinsella (Kevin Costner ) was understandably very upset. After all, he built the field for all to enjoy and he doesn’t even receive an invitation to see what’s out there beyond the weeds. Ray believed that all of this building of the field and putting out someone’s pain was for the benefit of the James Earls Jones character, not him. Kevin whispered, slightly under his breath, “It was for you,” referring to James Earl Jones. As shoeless Joe Jackson was headed behind the weeds for the night hosting James Earl Jones, Shoeless responded to Ray’s comment under his breathe and said, “No Ray, it was you.”
When Ray Kinsella turned around to head into the house, who does he see standing on the field alone? He sees his dad, John Kinsella, as a twenty year-old man who plays baseball. What a crazy twist life displayed here; you have a 36 year-old son meeting his 20 year-old father, before the son is even born yet. Ray’s 20 year-old father, John Kinsella, asks Kevin to play some catch, being that all the other players left for the night. Needless to say, Kevin accepted and basically is having an outer body experience to the reality of this incredible, yet bizarre experience.
After a few minutes the father, who in this case is the 20 year-old, asked Kevin Costner, “Is this Heaven?” Kevin replied, “No this is Iowa .” The 20 year-old father responded, “Boy, this sure looks like Heaven.” As u remember, none of the ball players could cross certain lines and come into the house. However, since this was Ray’s future father, an exception was granted. And John Kinsella came into the house and spent the night with Kevin and his family. This gave new meaning to the word “Nostalgic & Reflection.”
It was such a wonderful night that Kevin and his family asked the 20 year-old father, if he would like room and board with their family. The young man, John Kinsella happily accepted the invitation.
This is where the magic begins and literally changes the course of time. Kevin Costner, as a 36 year-old man, took advantage of this time to teach his 20 year-old father (before Kevin was technically even born yet) the things that he never taught Kevin, but should have. This way, when John Kinsella has Kevin down the line, all those deficiencies from the past were filled because of the lessons Kevin taught his father before he was even born. Talk about full circle huh ?
So in essence, Kevin broke the barriers of parents and children for life. The key is for the grown up kids, to teach the young parents before the kids are even born, the lessons that they should know before having the kids. As a result, the kids are very grounded, well adjusted, confident, sweet and most importantly kind to animals.
The End.
The Movie still would have been great.
