Good morning. As I mentioned (I think now 64 times), I have written hundreds of articles on NYC. While NYC will always be special to us, Everybody Loves Sammy is about animals & people from the entire world now. Nonetheless for THROWBACK THURSDAY, here is a little NYC Tidbit on The Lego Store. Just like James Earl Jones in the movie “ Field of Dreams “, said “ but baseball has marked the time “. It makes us think of Lego, — Lego has also stood the test of time. It’s timeless; it has always fascinated kids even with all this new technology out there, Lego stands strong. It’s no wonder there is a Lego store in the heart of NYC, right in Rockefeller Center. The kids can’t get enough, and it’s a pet friendly place. Sammy has visited the store many times. We just recently had him in a video in the Lego Store for the Christmas season that passed in 2012. I always take notice of the parents taking their kids around the store; it’s amazing to watch adults acting just like kids in that store. Truly mind boggling when you see City Images made of Lego, must have taken millions of Lego pieces to put some of those cities together. Just like we will always remember baseball growing up, we will always remember Lego . The Lego store is a true attraction and staple of The Big Apple. Adults, kids, pets, come on over to the Lego Store in Rock Center, you wont be disappointed. It’s located at 620 Fifth Avenue right around 50th Street.
Hi everybody. I keep reading the Justice for George page, the one about this duck who was brutally murdered in San Antonio, TX. There are some nice rewards being offered to find these people. MY name is Scott Evan Smith, no one of any real importance. I would like to make a proposal to the murderers who did this to this defenseless duck. Here is my proposal, I will raise 15k to organize a legalized boxing match between me and the murderer, consented by both parties. If i lose you keep the money. If i win, the ducks life does not go in vain, but you will lose no money. So you either win 15k, or you lose the fight with no penalty. If the murderer of this duck is interested in my proposal, please email me at smith7024@yahoo.com and we can arrange the fight as two consenting adults. I also make that offer to the father of these families that travel to other countries to kill exotic animals because they are bored with their lives. Step up and defend your cowardly murders.
Moving on. As always Everybody Loves Sammy prays for all animal victims of these senseless sporting events counting on their anguish and demise. God did not put these animals in this life to suffer for our amusement.

Hello friends, forgive me as there will be some hostility in this prayer and message. So, in Japan, which I don’t think is new News, but I wanted to share it. They serve live Frog sushi. I won’t display the picture, but first they skin the frog while alive and serve it as a meal while it’s still alive. If you want to see more information, you can find it on he Facebook Page Real Humans are Kind to Animals I warn you it’s appalling. We still would like to thank this page for putting this out in the forefront. Once again I have met very nice Japanese people here in NYC & Chinese people as well. It amazes me how barbaric some of these Asian countries are. They are known for skinning animals alive to save money for products to sell. Shame on the Japanese for doing this to the frogs they serve, they commit many animal atrocities, but for tonight I just wanted to mention that one. The people ordering these live frogs for dinner are just as guilty as the people making them. Shame on you people for doing this, you’re a disgrace to the human race. This is right up there with the seal clubbing that goes on. My lord these people are lucky we have laws. If we lived in a lawless society, I would hunt down the people making these dishes and the ones eating them. And yes, I would 100 percent go after those seal clubbers as well. Oh, a boy can dream, oh excuse me, I’m a man, I forget. Oh, a man and his dreams. So Japan, Mother nature nailed you with a tsunami in 2011, God knows what her next move is to level the field again for these dervish act. If anyone knows people involved or participating in these kind of things, please pass my message along, and for your own sake, drop them as friends, because they are nothing more then cowardly monsters.
As always we pray for all animals being neglected and mistreated, and we ask they have relief immediately.

The only thing missing in NYC is my precious Weezer. She was by my side for twenty years and now I feel that a part of me is missing. A part of me will never be whole again. I never imagined that my girl wouldn’t make it back to NY with me. Home won’t be the same without my baby. God bless my beautiful angel, as she sits by the side of God. Heaven is so lucky to have that girl. I miss you baby, more than you will ever know.
Friends, It’s getting very hot out there, so make sure to stay hydrated. Be sure to keep your pets bowl filled with clean, fresh water at all times. Never ever leave your animal in a hot car, under any circumstances. Too many pets die because of this and its a very painful death. No animal deserves to die this way.
Years ago, I had a friend whose 19 year old son left his two large dogs in the car, as he met with his friends outside. He left the dogs for several hours, without even cracking a window. It was summer in Colorado. Can you imagine how hot it was in that car for those poor dogs? Not only were they trapped in an unbelievably hot car, but they were covered in fur. When the boy returned to the car, both dogs were dead. God bless those dogs. I never forgot them and was never able to get out of my mind, what had happened to them and what they must have suffered.
Keep in mind that this does not just happen to pets. I’ve heard many stories about babies and children, also dying in a hot car, unattended. Never ever leave your child in a hot car. To me, there is never a good time to leave a child or a pet in a car alone. There are too many abductions and people could easily remove the child or pet from the car in an instant. Nothing is worth that, nothing.
Take nothing for granted. Always air on the side of caution. The truth is, we just don’t know what could happen. Have no doubt that horrific things can and do happen, in ANY neighborhood, regardless of where. Please be careful with your life and the life of those who count on you to protect them.
God keep the babies safe, two legged and four. These are the defenseless ones. These are the purest of souls, untainted by hate and intolerance. These are the most priceless gifts given to us by God. These are the teachers of unconditional love. They are meant to be treasured and only met with the gentlest of hands.

Welcome to ” MILLION DOLLAR BABY ” Movie Rewrite.During those ten years women boxing started to rise in popularity, and this peaked Hillary’s interest. Problem was she had no boxing experience what so ever. Being from a small town and all, there was only one dinky boxing gym around. Clint Eastwood ran the place. He immediately said to her “ I don’t train women “. But he did offer her job because she needed some work. After several months, Clint realized this young gal had a heart of a lion, like Rocky Balboa you might say. He didn’t see that with any of the men he trained, one you thing you need in boxing is heart. Because with heart and passion, you can even beat the ones that are better then you.
Clint finally gave in and trained her to box with skill and technique. Between that, her martial arts background, and the heart of a lion, Hillary was knocking people out left and right. She became an overnight legend in the female boxing world. Clint said “ I got you a shot at the title fight, this is your time now “. Hillary and Clint went into hardcore training now. He sets up a championship fight for her against the WBA women’s welterweight champion, Billie “The Blue Bear”, a German ex-prostitute who has a reputation as a dirty fighter. It was a million dollar fight. Money The Hillary Swank person could not possibly fathom.
Within a few rounds, the “ Hillary Swank “ person had complete control of the fight. It was clear she was going to win the Championship in just moments. Even Billie “ The Blue Bear “ saw her demise coming. When the rounded ended before the last one was about to begin, as they both returned to their corners, Hillary, as she had been doing the whole fight, walked backwards to her corner always remembering what Mr. Miyagi said, “ Never take your eyes off your opponent. Still, Billie “ The Blue Bear “ known for her dirty fighting, before the last round even started, came and attacked Hillary in her own corner to try to weaken her a little before the last round.
Hillary said to herself, The Blue Bear had a very tough life and boxing was all she had. So once the crowed pulled Billie off of Hillary, she had a moment of clarity and compassion. Hillary came to Billie’s side of the ring and said, “ I could never make it another round, you are the best fighter around, I surrender “. So “ Billie the Blue Bear “ remained the champ. People were in shock.
Clint offered Hillary a full time assistant job to him. Her job was to teach his men fighters to have that heart, that unexplainable heart that makes less of a fighter, beat a better fighter. Clint called it the “ Rudy Ruettiger Principal “. This principal was based off a student of Notre Dame who dream was to make the football team despite he was small and had no skills what so ever. But Rudy had a heart of a giant. When he took to the field, he felt taller then anyone. He was pure heart. And that is what Clint felt about Hillary, she was pure heart. And while you can’t teach that, if people see it long enough, it just might rub off on them.
Going back to Billie “ The Blue Bear “ boxing championship, the ex German Prostitute was stunned by what Hillary did for her in that last round. The world never showed her any kindness and compassion before, this experience changed her forever. She resigned from boxing and opened clinics all over the world, for people who also felt unloved, and let them know, they have a place to come where people do care about them.
The end. The movie still would have been great.
