[pullquote align=”left|center|right” textalign=”left|center|right” width=”30%”]These are two of my characters from my series “Young Blood.” Rosalina is the smaller yellowish chihuahua and Nashira is the bigger brown and white husky with blue markings.This picture is intended to symbolize the difference in personality between the Rosalina and Nashira; Nashira being overall evil and Rosalina being overall good. While I was drawing this picture, I also listened to Crossfire by Brandon Flowers. I loved the lyrics so I included one of the lines of the song in the picture. Obviously I do not own the quote / lyric as it belongs to Brandon Flowers. I Just have to make that crystal clear.[/pullquote]

“Young Blood” is the name of my series. This picture is a huge group photo of all the current characters in the series. I may add more characters in the future, but right now I highly doubt it.

“Young Blood” is a story about a world without humans. After millions and millions of years of humans inhabiting earth, God sees the corruption and evil that man has brought to the planet. God then wipes out the entire human race to make way for a species that could do a better job and make a better world. Dogs and cats encompass this species. As they evolve physically and mentally, a vicious cycle repeats itself once again, because with good in this “reborn world,” bad followed suit. Dogs and cats became just as corrupted and in their more evolved states become even more violent.They have the power to build things, wield weapons, ect. Is this a good thing is the question one must ask his/herself. However the answer will always be “no” in Young Blood. Our story resides in a human-less United States of America, re-named “Canorphia” by the many canines that reside in the country. Our main characters are Nashira,Tommy,Makani, and Gemini. Nashira,Gemini and Makani are the three leaders of a corrupted group of canines called “The Young Bloods.” The main goal of these leaders is to rule over Canorphia with an iron fist. If they achieve this goal, the lives of countless dogs could be at stake because of their greedy desires. Tommy is the younger and main follower in this group as he was pulled into it by being manipulated.Tommy is one of the few in this group that feels remorse, but out of fear of rejection he stays and follows the group,helping them in their evil deeds. In the Young Bloods wake, more dogs are sucked toward this group like floating debris toward a black hole in space. Will these dogs support the chaos being created by the Young Bloods? Will some of them be against it? But more importantly, will the Young Bloods succeed in taking over Canorphia for their own gain? Will somebody stop them?

Goodnight everyone. Just a little check in here to bring the night to a close. As animal lovers, I know I repeat concepts here and there, but it’s nice they still get appreciated. We always say, what’s so special about dogs / pets, is that every night you come home, they greet you with the same love and hope they had the first time they met you. Where else can we see no ulterior motive and simply just wanting you? That’s one place in this world where true harmony exists. Animals may not be able to reason like us, but we sure can learn a lot from them. We should worship them for their innocence towards us, not torment or treat them like old discarded furniture. Sammy & family know the people on this page feel similar, but maybe if we spread this message, we can uncloud the minds of people of the world who mostly say these words; I I I I I, ME ME ME ME, MINE MINE MINE, GIVE ME GIVE GIVE ME. Greed and narcissism is a miserable way to live. You might get short lived satisfactions from your victories and such, but you will be left with such an empty whole in your soul. It will crush you over time.

Reach out to these disguised angels dressed in animal suits, make no mistake, that is exactly what they are. How do we know this ? because all they want from you is your love and for you to be happy. Friends, that’s bigger than all of us. If you want proof of God, it’s right in front of you within these voiceless angels. Treat them right and the universe will treat us right.

Let’s make that change together. Say ” no ” to pork. Say ” no ” to ,eat. The Holocaust was ended for people and we will never forget what those people went through. Let’s end it for our angels who have been living this Holocaust forever. Oh, and yes, I am comparing the two, if that offends anyone. Sammy and Family is not apologizing for that. We stand by that statement. And we mean that with love, not anger.

Sammy & Family would like to pay our respects to one of the greatest men to ever walk the Earth. It was 50 years ago today where Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his famous words, “I Have A Dream,” on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. That speech was a defining moment of the American Civil Rights Movement. His words will echo for eternity. A true visionary with guts to see it through, and see it through peacefully, despite all the hatemongers. This man gave class, grace & leadership a whole new meaning. Dr. King, there will never be another you but we will always remember you and follow your lead.

Hello there animal lovers. I want to share a story tonight about Patrick, our new dog. I guess we can extrapolate this scenario to many situations of this kind. Extrapolate is a word I use to sound really smart even though it was used correctly for this story. As I told you, Vanessa and I waked into a pet store recently and took notice of a dog that was not selling. In fact the dog kept getting marked down. We decided to take him out of the cage and play with him. He was eleven months old and probably had been in the cage since he was 3 months. He was a very sweet boy with a lot of love to give, we immediately took to him. Within one hour, we took the dog home with us and he became part of our family. As you all know, we then named him Patrick, after the late Patrick Swayze. So where am I going with this story ? I will tell you. We have had him about 8 days now; he is so happy that it’s magical to watch. It brings Vanessa and I such joy to have him here, and truly showed again, that life literally, comes down to inches and minutes.

There are times I can look into Patrick’s eyes and see two things, 1) how elated he is with his new life. 2) His eyes sometimes show me that he wonders if this will last and if it’s permanent. That’s when we give him love and encouragement, very soon we won’t see that concern in his eyes, and he will know he’s with us forever.

I may not have expressed this perfectly, but, if you ever want to feel enrichment in your life, this is the express lane on how to feel that. Instilling a defenseless animal with confidence fueled by your attention and protection, to Sammy & Family is the most God like act you can participate in.

Please remember, small tweaks in our lives, can make substantial differences in an animal’s life, including life or death. None of our appetites are important enough to inflict such horror on these God like innocent angels. Please, make that change. Let Pigs and Cows be, they are sweet just like our family pets. Of course all animals are included when I say that.

No lives will go in vain, no pain will go unnoticed.
