Good evening friends.

This is a very special post tonight. Its the story of Dolores DeNinno who went through a very trying time. Dolores and her daughter Naddine, are great friends of Sammy & Family. As a matter of fact, Naddine was the one who put the piece together for “Everybody Love Sammy” on OK Magazine Online.  In the Picture is Dolores DeNinno and her two dogs, Freya (Husky), and Molly (Shetland Sheepdog).

Here’s Dolores’s story, very moving and powerful;

It was November 21st, 2010, a Sunday, the worst thing that could have happened to me, happened. My husband and I were making a Sunday food order for Thanksgiving and we got into a terrible car accident and sadly I lost my husband.

Things were never the same again. I couldn’t find a way to lift my spirits any longer. I’d go online, at that time I was just new to Facebook,and while scrolling and scrolling through news feeds, i saw all this sadness and people not getting along, breaking up, divorcing and just kept thinking “I’d do anything to have my husband back.” It made me sadder each day.

Then one day, a little face popped up on my screen and who was it? It was Sammy from Everybody Loves Sammy on Facebook. And I started following him and it came to a point where he actually made me laugh again and brought me back to life. He pulled me through a very hard time.  It’’s four years later and I’m in a good place. I miss my husband, my life has changed, but the song remains the same, “Everybody Loves Sammy” is the consummate healer.

Rest in Peace Mr. DeNinno.
