Merry Christmas Eve from Little Patreeko & Dr. Harp Seal

An Audio Message from Little Patreeko and Dr. Harp Seal on Christmas Eve;

Good evening friends.

Dr. Harp Seal here for Sammy & Family.    Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all.   What a full year this has been, the good, the not so good and the indifferent.

Tonight we have Little Patreeko leading us out.  This is his Second Christmas with Sammy & Family.   Man has this little guy come a long way from the Pet Shop in August of 2013.  He spent around 11 months there.  It hurts just thinking about that.

Taking him home that day was one of the best things I’ve ever done in my life.  I couldn’t see him spend another day in that shop.  We made his life taking him out of there, and he has rewarded this family ten fold by now.  That’s a 1000 percent return on an emotional investment.  Not financial, pure emotional.

As many of you know we named him after the late actor Patrick Swayze.  As time moved on we came up with wild names for him because we love him to death.  Some of the names have been, Little Patrick, Little Patreeko, Little Patraceeko and just plain Patreeko, very rarely do we call him just Patrick anymore.

Just these past few days, my love for him went to all time highs, and my new name for him is; Little Rico.   Its like the song from 1976 says, “The things we do for love”  — It also reminds me of when Tom Cruise was jumping up and down on Oprah’s couch head over heals in love with Katie Holmes at the time.   No disrespect to Mr. Cruise, I like that he did that.  Not to mention Jerry Maguire being the greatest movie ever and Vanilla Sky being in the top 10 best movies ever.

Christine and Misiu Came to say goodnight on December 23rd, 2014

Good evening friends.

Our friend Christine and her little angel Misiu came to say goodnight. They were nice enough to post this picture on our December 9th, 2014 post and we figured to share it.  Sammy & Family is wishing everyone a Holidatious evening. We hope our animal friends around the world receive the love and care Misiu does. What a wonderful world it could be.

Rest In Peace Thomas Gilligan

Good evening friends.

Tonight we are sending our thoughts and prayers to Susanne Day and Family. Susanne’s dad, Thomas Gilligan passed away on December 18th, 2014. He died very suddenly.

This is a picture of him many years ago when he was with the Police force in NYC.

Susanne and her dad had not seen each other in 15 years until just a few weeks back on December 6th. They had met in a restaurant with his wife and had a really nice reconciliation. Susanne described the meeting as a beautiful moment. Her dad had told her he loved her and a real amends was made. She also mentioned it was somewhat bittersweet being the reconciliation happened right at the end of his life. We can all understand that.

Thomas Gilligan had been in the Marine Corps and was a Lieutenant in the Police force in NYC. May Thomas Gilligan rest in peace.
