This is how it all started for Sammy and I;
Good evening friends.
Thank you for all the birthday love for Sammy’s 10th Birthday. It really meant a lot to Sammy & Family. I spent the last two days trying to respond to everyone’s comments, there were literally hundreds of them. I’m pretty sure I got back to everyone. I always say to myself, If my friends have time to comment for me, I make time to comment for them.
I love all of the pictures many of you posted of your pets saying Happy Birthday to Sammy, those were funny and fantastic. I would like to take this opportunity to say that I would love any of you to email me a picture of your pet or pets and some information so he or she could lead us out for prayers one night, or even for the morning post. For those who want to participate, my email is; smith7024@yahoo.com.
Sammy & Family is about all of us. I love writing about your pets too. And as sad as it can be, I like to write about our pets that crossed the rainbow bridge because it makes me feel we gave them the attention and respect they deserve now that they’re gone.
I will forever remember Saturday March 14th, 2015. It was a day of celebration, a day of refection as with the story i wrote, and a day of promise for all the great times still to come.

Good evening friends.
The gratitude we feel for the love you’ve all shown for Sammy’s birthday today is unprecedented. I did our best to reply to everyone, and I think might have accomplished that. The comments and thoughts you all shared about what Sammy & Family means to you on a daily basis throughout the year, left us speechless.
It truly makes up happy the friendships we’ve developed with all of you after all the years. We are so humbled by it. I learned many years ago, 90 percent of success is just showing up. What I mean by success is that we have been built friendships all over the world by consistently showing up. I make it a point to Sammy & Family, that no matter what, we connect with our friends in the morning and we connect with our friends at night.
To me this has never been work, its a pure passion of mine. I love animals and I love animal loving people. ELS, Dr. Harp Seal and now The Good News Channel are the directions I want to take my life in. Why? Because being around all you everyday with a common theme of our love for animals from a positive perspective, that makes me happy.
Many years ago I said to myself we are all the producers of our own movie called “Life” So it comes down to what movie you want to write for your life. For me that movie was ELS. And thanks to all of you, its the best movie I’ve ever seen.

We want to wish a Happy Birthday to Sammy, Deb Tsoi, Jessi Mantay and Stacy Shack. #GoPisces.
It’s a very special day for Sammy & Family. Sammy turns 10 years old today. We wish him a fantastic day and many more birthdays to come. I am going to share a little story of Sammy & I now.
So in 2004 I had a break up after a 5 year relationship. I Was pretty down and out to say the least. A few months later a friend of mine introduced me to this young gal from out of town. Much younger then me, normally I never rolled that way. But like I said, I was pretty down those days. Point being, I said to my friend, sure why not. Turns out the young gal and I to some degree hit it off and went with it. Within in a few months, she said to me, I saw a dog today on 13th street and 6th avenue and I want to bring him home. Good evening friends.
Its great to be here with everyone tonight. The weekend showed up right on time as it always does. Day 62 here in Puerto Rico. Life was good today on March 13th, 2015.
Vanessa and I hope to see everyone on the timeline in the morning for the big day. No pressure of course, only if its easy for everyone. Just a reminder for anyone who might have missed it, Sammy is turning 10 years old tomorrow.
I will have a nice story about him and I in the morning that I’m excited to tell.
