Tonight The World say Goodbye to a fallen angel named Ruby

Tonight we say goodbye to Ruby

Tonight we say goodbye to Ruby

Good evening everyone.

It is with a very heavy heart that we share with you tonight, the passing of an angel. We have prayed for Ruby before, because she was suffering from Cancer, and we were all hoping that a miracle would come. It wouldnt be the first miracle for her. Her life was full of miracles.

We learned about Ruby from one of our dearest friends, Joan, who adored her to no end. Ruby was Joans best friend, Alicia’s dog. Ruby had a difficult time in her earlier years.  She was found by two workers who heard her whimpers from  inside of a closet,  in a home that was about to be torn down . She was abandoned in that closet,  with the door shut. There was broken glass everywhere. Thank God for those workers. They called the right people, and Ruby was taken to the local animal shelter where she was saved. Alicia’s daughter, Candace was there helping out, and immediately took to Ruby. She took her home to Alicia, and Alicia fell in love with her. It was a blessing for all of them. Ruby was a miracle from the start. She loved her brother Cash so much,  and she also loved cats. The Kitty you see with her in this photo, is the one she loved the most.

Ruby was a very gentle and very loving dog. She hardly ever even barked. She gave so much love to everyone, and touched all who knew her. She was surrounded by love when she crossed over the rainbow bridge into heaven. She will be deeply missed.

Joans fondest memory of Ruby, in her own words was “When we were at a State Park  We were sitting side by side with my arm around her, and I gave her a kiss on her forehead and then she turned and gave me a kiss on my cheek . I will never ,ever forget that moment….. Rest in peace,  my sweet, precious Ruby. I will  always love you. Run free and be happy until we meet again.

We send out prayers of healing and love to Alicia, Candace and Joan. We ask God to be with them through this very painful time. And we also send out prayers to Ruby. You were so loved, and that love will live on, until you all meet again, on the other side of this world. Now you are young again, and free of any pain. You will be missed dearly. You will be remembered always.

No lives will go in vain. No pain will go unnoticed. Amen.

Love from,
Jessica Lee Smith,

Tough Decisions Henry Has to Make

Executive decisions by Henry

Good morning friends.

Henry is in a quite a pickle this morning.  He has a tough decision to make.  Does he get back into bed with me, Sammy, Kelly and Patrick, or does he go to the kitchen where Vanessa’s dad is making breakfast ?  Man, what to do, what to do.

In 20 years in business I never had to make an executive decision like this.  My guess is Henry will go to the kitchen and get a little treat from George, and then he will come back into bed. Win Win.  What can I say, my boys are smart.

Have a great Tuesday friends.

Good evening on a Monday in March

Goodnight on March 10th, 2015

Good evening friends.

Day 58 here in Puerto Rico. Its good to be here with everyone.  Its funny, I always felt the work week started on a Tuesday.  Usually when i got home after work on a Monday, I would say to myself  “Is it still the weekend or did I just get home from work?”

Speaking of the work week, a little tangent here, forgive me.  Its a business tip.  So Tuesday the brain actually recognizes and accepts we are back at work.  By the time Wednesday comes around we are in the full swing of things.  So what’s the tip ?  The tip is, when you want to get business or anything else done, get it done Wednesday morning.  Because that is the morning the plane is about to take off.

OK, sorry.  Back to Sammy & Family.  So this weekend we actually cancelled Sammy’s haircut.  The little guy wasn’t feeling so good.  The last thing he needed was to be on his feet for two hours in a standstill position.

So we are scheduled for a grooming on Thursday.  We will have some great pictures for his birthday on Saturday morning.   The big ten years old. Thank God when I look back on the last ten years with him, I can say i have given him and continue to give him a great life.  I never did the wrong thing to him or for him.  Even during my wild years, I would have died before i put him in harms way.  Sammy through his whole life was never left alone, never, never ever.

Dr. Harp Seal just wants to be happy

Good morning friends.

Dr. Harp Seal here.  Thank you for stopping by.

We are not our thoughts.  The static in our heads does not govern our lives.  We are free to choose our path, bound by nothing.  And with that, Dr. Harp Seal just wants to be happy.
