Tonight the World says Goodbye to Lucy

Good evening friends.

This is Charlie on the left paying tribute to his sister Lucy who crossed the rainbow bridge in the past 24 hours. Charlie and Lucy is and were members of Marie Buschenko and family.

We have prayed for Lucy several times before if you remember. She was the Shiba Inu who’s smile lit up the room. Lucy’s health and eyesight unfortunately kept deteriorating in the past year. As we all know, sometimes the only loving move left to make is to say goodbye.

As for this living angel Charlie, he is very lucky to be part of Marie’s family. And Marie and family can take comfort in the wonderful life they gave Lucy and the great life they are giving Charlie.

On the right of post is an image of an obituary that Marie wrote for her fallen angel Lucy.

Rest in peace Lucy. Marie and Charlie we want you to know that Sammy & Family and friends have you in our thoughts & prayers.

No lives will go in vain, no pain will go unnoticed. Amen. Dr. Harp Seal for Sammy & Family.

Happy Animals Club in the Southern Philippines

Good morning friends.

Today we take a journey to the Southern Philippines where the heart of a 9 year old boy named Ken grabbed the attention of the world for his care of stray animals.  When i contacted Ken’s family to run the story, they were really gracious about it.  I’m grateful for that.

Some people have a kinship with animals and it can start very young. That has sure been the case with Ken. He frequently would take food outside to attend to the strays. Looking after all these strays started to become costly and took up a lot of time. Ken Knew he needed help.

So 9 year old Ken took it upon himself to draw a little poster to get people to donate to his cause. From his little poster, to pictures of him feeding strays on the street, to his dad posting a few pictures on the internet, Ken’s story went viral all over the world. From there donations started piling in.

The Best Things In Life are Free

The Best Things In Life are Free

Good morning friends.

Sammy loves to be high up on my shoulders.  He’s only one foot tall, so he’s always looking up. This is his “View from the top” so to speak, or his “SUV”(riding on a truck) position.

Tall, medium or short, his zeal for life is unprecedented.  He’s taught me a lot in that way.  When Sammy is out and about, he’s happy.  That’s all it take, nothing more.  Why is that ?  Its because just like the slogan says; “The best things in life are free”

Happy Saturday.

Friday Always Comes Right on Time

Friday always comes on time

Good evening friends.

Day 55 here in Puerto Rico.  Today was a really nice day on many fronts.  The reason I count the days is not to bore you my friends, it helps me stay in the day.  When Scott, the 45 year old kid starts veering from the day, difficulties start to arise.  With that said, Life was good today.

Tomorrow we’re having Sammy groomed for his big 10th birthday bash on March 14th.  I will put together a really nice story for the little Prince.

Weekend or not, Sammy & Family prays for animals to have easier paths in this life.  It’s hard to bear knowing day in and day out they have the same struggles with no reprieve.  The world can be really hard on them, let’s keep them in our thoughts.  Life can be so grand, but its not as sweet without animals feeling the joy as well.

No lives will go in vain, no pain will go unnoticed.  Amen.  Dr. Harp Seal for Sammy & Family.

Why is The Good News Channel so interesting ?

Closing thoughts for tonight about The Good News Channel

Good evening friends.

Its good to be here with everyone.  Well March 5th and I see its snowing again.  That is truly one for the books.  Had I not lived through 45 years of  Winters I would feel more guilty then i do.

I landed some really good features for the next few weeks on The Good News Channel.  We are excited to show those features to our ELS family.  I want our friends from around the world to know I’ve always dreamed about conveying news through story telling.

After 20 years of being tuned into financial news and Geo political news, I wanted to break stories with no pre determined agenda behind them.  I wanted to hear news from people like us, the unspoken experiences, dreams, passions and thoughts that never get heard.  The major networks send reporters into the field to get the news they want them to get.

Through my entire life I was always interested in the news that came from all of us.  Meaning from my friends, family and animals around me.  The fact that it never made its way to the media doesn’t mean it was not news to me.  That’s why I am so passionate about The Good News Channel.  Its because the news comes from all of us.  And now we have a platform so that our news doesn’t go unspoken and unheard.

That’s all I got tonight.  Talk to y’all in the morning.  Signing off from Puerto Rico on day 54.  Love always, Dr. Harp Seal for Sammy & Family.
