Goodnight from Sammy & Family on April 14th, 2015

Dr. Harp Seal with comments for our friends who recently lost their dogs / pets

Good evening friends.

Its great to be here with everyone.  We hope y’all had a nice Tuesday.

The past couple of weeks we had say goodbye to several dogs here in the community as we all read about, it’s never an easy decision to make.  I just want to comfort the the families who recently had to let  their angels go, sometimes its the only loving move left to make.  Mercy is an act of kindness.  To all our friends who just went through this, Sammy & Family would have made the same decision as you all did.

I know that doesn’t make us miss them any less, but take comfort in knowing you all gave them a great life and showed them mercy on the way out.  There is nothing more honorable than that.

To Amanda, Phyllis, Marie, Cindy and Dave, all of you made the world a better place one animal at a time.  Nobody can change everything, but everyone can change something.  And the 5 of you changed the world for those 5 dogs.  What can be more noble then that ?

No lives will go in vain, no pain will go unnoticed.  Amen.  Dr. Harp Seal for Sammy & Family.

Poppy-Seeks came to say happy Tuesday

Poppy-Seeks wanted to say happy Tuesday

Good morning friends.

Little Poppy-Seeks wanted wish everyone a wonderful Tuesday.  No matter what side of the bed we woke up on today, its another gift.

It can always be better, it can always be worse.  What am I grateful for today, that is the question ?  As for me, I’m grateful for being part of Patreeko’s life and seeing his happiness.

As I’ve said before, Vanessa and I might have rescued him, but he completed this family and brought us happiness to a whole other level.

OK, fun look back on today, April 14th, 1948 in history;  NYC subway fares jump from 5 cents to 10 cents.

Happy Tuesday friends.

A Tribute for Buddy

A tribute for Buddy

Good evening friends.

Tonight we pay tribute to Buddy, a mini Schnauzer who passed away on February 9th 2014.  On March 17th of 2014, he would have been 14 years old.  Buddy was a member of  Dave van Pelt and family.  Dave is a big time animal lover. Anytime we do our thoughts & prayers for animals that have passed, we can feel his compassion in his comments.

Here is what Dave had to say about his fallen angel; “Buddy had a great personality, he would grab at my pants when i left for work everyday.  And the highlights of my day was coming home to see him waiting for me”  We can all relate to that.

On February 9th, 2014, Dave was petting and stroking him while he was sleeping and snoring and a few minutes later he just passed on to the other side.  He died peacefully in the arms of his best friend.  Dave was telling me he knows Buddy is on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge waiting for him.

How true that is.  We all have to remember when we lose our pets, its not forever, its just delayed.  And once we reconnect on the other side, then it is forever, and what can be better then that ?

Dave currently does have another Schnauzer named Bingo.  Hopefully one night Bingo can lead us out for prayers.  One thing Sammy & Family can say with confidence is that Bingo is in good hands.

No lives will go in vain, no pain will go unnoticed.  Amen. Dr. Harp Seal for Sammy & Family.

Life’s Treasures

In this life there R treasures. They R not what you might think. Love is a treasure. Friendship is a treasure. Family is a treasure. No matter how many earthly belongings U may be surrounded by, in the end, all that we take with us,is love.

Your Age is The New Age

Your age is the new age

Good morning friends.  Dr. Harp Seal here, thank you for stopping by.  You can read this message or scroll down and watch the video with the same message;

So today, lets dive into the popular expression, 50 years old is the new 40, and 40 years old is the new 30, and 70 years old is the 60, and so on and so on.  You know the media, advertisers and marketers are so good at what they do they’ll have you believing each day you wake up is terrible because now your older.  It influences us to be in a state of constantly longing for yesterday.  Its completely backwards and upside down.  Living and thinking this way goes against the tide, that does not produce happiness.

So lets make this right side up.  To me, 70 years old is the new 70, and 50 years old is the new 50 and so on and so on.  If you keep that foundation in your mind, you will be going with the tide, and you’ll even feel this thing called happy to be in the present.  Remember our message from a couple of weeks back, if you feel happy, you’ll feel younger, and certainly younger then any nip and tuckers out there.  And I’m not against the Nip and Tuckers, but other then physically making yourself look younger, it brings in no real substance to your soul.

So again, whatever your age is, that’s the new age.  Leave the uniformed chasers of the past be, eventually everyone will come around to this way of thinking because this is how it really is.
