You Can Feel Friday In the Air

Good evening friends.

Welcome to the weekend.  Friday showed up right on time as usual.  Even though I’m still playing Mr. Mom to 5 dogs while Vanessa goes to work, I can still feel Friday in the air.  Its nice to be here with everyone, its my favorite part of the day.  We hope everyone had a nice day today.  If you didn’t, don’t take it personally,  some days are just better than others.   Shake it off, everyone deserves a nice weekend.

Time to start bringing it down.  Let me close with a nice quote for the evening.  “My life is not comprised of memories, my life is comprised of living it”

Flashback Friday with Elmo, The Cookie Monster and Sammy

Good morning friends.

I ran into this picture last night and wanted to break it out for all our new friends.  So lets call today “Flashback Friday”  — This picture was taken 3 years ago and I remember it was like yesterday.  When people see Elmo and The Cookie Monster in Times Square they go picture crazy.  When people see Elmo, The Cookie Monster and Sammy in Times Square together they go off the wall with excitement.

You can’t see it in this Picture but there must of been 20 of us standing in front of these 3 funny characters snapping pictures like it was the greatest thing since sliced bread.  If you were walking by you would of thought Led Zeppelin or something was standing over there.  It was Sammy mayhem. Sammy & Family has had many fun times in Times Square.

Tip of the day.  I will seek happiness, I will respect myself and be good to animals and people.

Big Move to Puerto Rico and Possible Radio Show

The move to Puerto Rico and The Radio Show

Good evening friends.

Thank you for stopping by.  It’s great to be here with everyone.   We hope you all had a nice Thursday.  If you didn’t, try not to personalize it, with a good sleep you’ll feel better tomorrow.

So I have some news I would like to share with everyone, its slightly premature to say this, but it’s somewhat in motion, so what the heck.  I am working diligently to figure out a way to bring Jessica, her kids and my mother to Puerto Rico in a house just 5 houses away from where Vanessa and I live right now.  I’m 75  percent sure this is going to happen or I would not say it.

Now I know that is Not Earth shattering news that changes anyone’s lives but I like to be open with our ELS family.

When they movie here, Jessica and I will be doing a morning radio show for about 30 minutes to an hour, Monday through Friday each morning starting around at 8 am.  The show will be called “Give Today a Chance”

It is going to be 5 dollars a month to join.  You know Sammy & Family has been working hard for the last 5 years for free and we will continue to do exactly what we’ve been doing for free, but the radio show will be a paid for service.

Now let me say this, if that is too expensive for anyone, you email me and I cut the price in half, no questions asked. Let me take that a step further, if you cannot afford anything, you email me and you get access for free.  The subscription model will based on the honor code system and we will take your word for it.  If you can afford it, please join, if you cant, email me and we will work it out.  This show is for all of us to join and benefit from.

Good morning friends.

This is Sammy when he was officially inducted into the Sealship Community.  It was a very proud moment for Sammy & Family.  The seals had floating  bleachers for the people that attended.  It was very well thought out.

We would like to highlight one quote from Sammy’s Seal acceptance speech.  “My Seal brothers, despite that I’m a 10 pound Pomeranian that cannot swim, I swim with you in spirit and fight for your rights tirelessly on land”  — Needless to say the Seal Community was blown away.

Ok friends, Tip of the day; No matter who you are, or what you are, or what you do, if you’re nice to me, I’m nice to you.

Bella and Renee Price

Bella and Renee

Good evening friends.

Tonight we have our great friend Renee Price and her recent rescue named Bella leading us out.  If you remember 6 weeks ago Renee lost her dog Butters and was completely devastated.  I remember speaking to her back then and she said Butters was her soulmate and nobody can ever take her place.  Those words still hold true.

Two weeks later after Butter’s passing, Renee did the most noble thing one can do, she rescued Bella from a high kill shelter.  Its like we always say, the best way to honor our pets who have passed away, is to rescue a new angel in need of a home.  Bella was just given a second change at life and it will be a great one.   The bond between Renee and Butters can never be weakened, but we must carry on and help or rescue other animals in need.

It took a lot of guts for Renee to pull it together so quickly and save Bella’s life.  And not just save her life, but Bella will have a happy life now.  These are the actions of people that change  the world, one random act of kindness at a time.

Sammy & Family has met Renee personally, she’s been through a lot in life and yet she remains as sweet as can be and has heart of gold.  We are major fans of Renee Price, major.

No lives will go in vain, no pain will go unnoticed.  Amen. Dr. Harp Seal for Sammy & Family.

A Smile can Change the Course of a Day

Tonight We say Goodbye to Charlie the Guinea Pig

Charlie the Guinea Pig

Good evening friends.  Yesterday the world said goodbye to a very special  Guinea Pig named Charlie.  He was a member of Julie Marie and Family.

Let’s hear Julie’s words about her fallen angel;

“Charlie was truly a blessing to us. He lived for 5 years and boy did he live!  He loved to socialize with us and spend time playing and cuddling. Guinea pigs are much like dogs in that respect.  He was very funny too and would “wheel” and “whistle” for attention and ate his veggies every day. He always made us laugh and smile!  We will miss him so very much.

He had a cancerous tumor that made him very sick and go off his food. We were very sad to see him suffering. I am comforted knowing he is not suffering anymore and over the rainbow bridge with our golden retriever Duke.

Julie thank you for sharing this special story of Charlie with us.  He will be greatly missed, but like you said, Charlie suffers no more.  We are happy to hear Charlie brought your family such happiness, that’s what animals do for all us. Life is better because of them.  They are angels walking amongst us.

Rest in Peace Charlie, and Rest in Peace Duke.  Play and run free together forever.

Little Patrick came to say good morning.  He’s got a lot of love in his eyes this boy, you can see it. So let’s send everyone off to work with two positive notions.

1. Today works for me, I don’t work for today.  Its my life and my movie.

2. Let’s try not to fixate on people that rub us the wrong way, let’s just meet new people and invite new experiences into our lives.
