I Repeat the Things I Love

Nobody is perfect, just be happy

Good evening friends.

How nice to be hear with everyone tonight.  Let me do a little reverse Jedi Psychology on you all, please nobody make a big deal of my birthday coming up this Sunday on May 24th, lol.

All kidding aside, We hope everyone has a had a nice Monday.  If you didn’t, shake it off, don’t take it personally, sometimes a good night sleep keeps a complete different perspective the very next day.  If you had a nice day, hit the replay but tomorrow and try to have another one.

Keeping it simple is the key.  I love certain things and i keep repeating those things that I love, and Guess what ?  I’m a lot happier.   Lets break out one of our mathematical life formulas right now.

Here’s the math;  “Doing things that make me happy + doing things that makes me happy = More Happiness.

Let’s close with 2 notions to ease us into the evening.

1. I did the best I could today, I’m not second guessing anything, what’s done is done.

2. Nobody is perfect, to judge yourself for imperfections is not the path to peace and happiness. Give up the pursuit of perfection and invite peace back into your life.  You don’t owe anyone expectations placed on you by family, friends or colleagues.  Who’s rules are those ?  I don’t subscribe to those rules.

With that my friends.  Singing off from Puerto Rico on day 128, Dr. Harp Seal for Sammy & Family.

The Belief in Oneself and Uncertainty by Dr. Harp Seal

How to handle uncertainty in one's life

Good morning friends.

I recently met with Dr. Harp Seal to talk some things through.  I was telling him there a lot of things I’m uncertain about, I’m just not sure where the cards will fall with respect to many topics.

So he said to me; “Uncertainty will remain as a constant through your life or anyone’s life for that matter.  The important thing is to have your two feet on the ground, keep your head on straight, and believe in yourself to know that whatever life throws at you, good or bad, you can handle it”

He went on to say that the belief in oneself is what distinguishes if uncertainty threatens us, or if uncertainty opens doors of possibilities and opportunities for us.

With that, lets close with two positive notions for this Monday.

1. Believe in yourself, you deserve that.  That is your right and you need not ask anyone’s permission for that.

2. I don’t want to over think everything,  I want to keep things simple and seek happiness.

Have a great Monday, see you tonight.

Sweet Jeffrey Boy

Sweet Jeffrey came to say goodnight

Good evening friends.

We hope everyone had a nice day today.  We didn’t do much over here but somehow we made a day out of nothing, and that’s good.

Sweet Jeffrey wanted to come say goodnight.  Man has he progressed. It feels good to make a difference in animals or people’s lives.  Sammy & Family may not be able to change the world, but we changed Jeffery’s world, and that’s made our world better.  Its a spinning wheel of positivity if you will and its contagious.

So next Sunday May 24th is my birthday.  We are going to put a fun and nice post together for the ELS family around the world.  I’m really grateful for our ELS friends and that in itself makes this birthday coming up a very special one.

Vanessa and I have a real fun concept for the post, but like anything else in life, its about execution.  So we’ll see, but I thank y’all will be pleased with it.

OK, lets close with some good thoughts as we ease into the quieter part of the evening.

1. I invite peace into my mind and body right now.  The things I have to take care of tomorrow are on the shelf until the morning.

2. Thank God for this day that was given to us, good, bad or indifferent, today was a gift.  Many people are born everyday, and many people die everyday.  Each day we live is a gift.

We would like to wish everyone a peaceful evening.  Amen.  Scott Smith for Sammy & Family.

Taking in the Beach

Taking in the Beach

Good morning friends.

A little beach day with my boy. He likes to sit on my shoulders so he can take a look around.
We are wishing ya’ll a great Sunday Funday.

Remember, Sunday is the day we let imagination back in the door and into our lives. On Sundays, we get to be us again, the people we set out to be from the very beginning.
See you tonight.

I Don’t want to grow up I’m a Toys R’ Us kid

Toys R' Us Kid

Good evening friends.

Just want to check in and say hello.  I Don’t want to grow up, I’m a Toys R’ Us Kid for life.  One of the tigers said to me; ” you are the oldest person that has wanted to take a picture with us all day”  I told him that I am 5 years old according to the mathematical formula about age I shared with everyone last week.  Now they didn’t get to read that post, so they said to me, “Why are you saying your 5 years old when your clearly in your forties?”

I said because “once a Toys R’ Us Kid, always a Toy’s R’ Us Kid, don’t you know that ?”  So they said, “we don’t work for Toy’s R’ us, we are the Tigers from The Frosted Flakes Cereal”   All I could say at the point is. “Tushay Tigers, Tushay”

Wow this post has put me in the mood for some Frosted Flakes right now.  The binge is on.

National I love you day

National I love you day

Good morning friends.

We have been noticing a trend that there is a  “National Day” for pretty much ever topic in the book these days.  So we’ve deiced to create “National I Love You Day”

The purpose of this new national holiday is to say “I love you” to anyone you speak to today or you randomly run into at the supermarket or somewhere else.  It goes something like this, say I’m at a pizza place, I would say to the person, “I’ll have two slices of pizza and I love you”  — Very simple stuff this holiday is.

You can see by the look on Sammy’s face he’s very excited to march this holiday today.  As you can also see, Patrick i the upper right will be watching out for his older brother today with all the photo bombers out their nowadays.

So friends,  Have a happy “I Love You Day” and happy Saturday.

Let’s break down why Friday is such a Great Day

Dr. Harp Seal - Friday's analysis

Good evening friends.

Welcome to the weekend.  If Friday were a person, he or she would be a genius because he or she always shows up right on time.  And so consistently too, every week to be precise.

Tonight I want to break the word “Friday” down to understand why its such a great day.  Ok, so lets put a word to each letter inside the word “Friday” Below are the components that make up this great word and day in our lives.

Fun + reprieve + invigorating + day + above + yesterday = Friday

Friends you might want to share this or make a copy of it because this analysis was history in the making and you were here to witness  it.   I’m not going to say this discovery is on the level of Albert Einsteins “Theory of Relativity”  — But i can promise you will remember exactly where you were when you first read this in years to come.

Kind of like we all remember where we were when we watched the last episode of Dallas; “Who Shot Jr?”   or where we were when Neil Armstrong first landed on the moon, or when the Berlin Wall came down in 1989, and etc.

Should I Say or Should I Go

Should I stay or should I go

Peek a boo.  I see you.  Good morning friends and happy Friday.

And with that, let’s pose a question about work through a song from 1982; ♫♫♫ Should I stay or should i go ? ♫♫♫

A personal message from Scott Smith to the ELS family

Personal message from Scott Smith

Good evening friends.  We hope y’all had a nice day today.  It was nice participating with life today on May 14th, 2015. God willing we get another shot at life tomorrow.

I know I sound repetitive sometimes but I know some of our friends out here can be shy and prefer to remain quiet. I feel very grateful in my life today.  Through all my mistakes i have made in life, and there was tons of them, I learned many many invaluable lessons.

To any of our friends that may be feeling down or feeling like there is no way out, I would like you to reach out to me and maybe i can help you feel a little better and hopeful again.  Not because i am some wizard or something, but because I’ve been there for decades.  And i have the GPS for the road back to peace and happiness.  Open invitation.  My email is smith7024@yahoo.com.

OK, moving on now.  Lets break out three quotes to boost our spirits.

1. Your thoughts are not going to kill you and they are going to pass.   — Scott Smith —

2. Remember, each day you wake up, you are one day closer to whats bothering you, not bothering you anymore.  Hang in there and remain focused.  — Scott Smith —

3.  You don’t have to lose everything to realize what you had, a lot of times when its good enough, its good enough, and that’s good.  — Scott Smith —

ELS is my family, and I love my family.  It’s like I’ve always said, “Animal lovers are a cut above the rest”
