Jo Ann smith doing some serious Sledding

Jo Ann Smith, professional Sledder

Good evening friends.

Thanks for stopping by.  Jo Ann Smith here doing some serious sledding. She went old school taking the top of a garbage can, flipping it over and turning into Evil Knievel.  I give my mother a lot of credit. She has 3 screws in one of her ankles and still rolled the dice in the name of fun.

My mother usually told me I should not speak of a Woman’s age so openly. I am going to respect that and simply put this out there; if someone were to say; “What does 70 +2 equal?”, You would be really onto something.

My mother, Jess and the 4 kids were taking in some fun in the aftermath of this blizzard, and I wanted to share some of their snow joy with everyone. This blizzard was very reminiscent of the blizzard of 1996.   I have to agree with Vanessa, Winters look better in pictures, lol.

By the way, speaking of Evil Knievel, if I ever meet him in the afterlife, I will be like; “Were you crazy with some of those jumps you did?”  God rest his soul. He did pass away in 2007. Incredible entertainer, no doubt about that.

Never mess with a 46 year old man and his 10 pound Pomeranian

Warning signs

Good morning friends.

I have a few golden rules I live by.  I never mess with men in their forties who have a 10 Pound Pomeranian. Take this guy in the picture for example.

Firstly, if you notice on his left arm, or for the viewer the right arm, he has a tattoo. That could imply danger right there.

Secondly, this man in the picture is wearing shades. Now we all remember the song;  ♫♫♫ Don’t Mess around with the Guy in Shades, Oh No ♫♫♫,  by Corey Hart in 1983.  So that’s Red Flag number 2.

Thirdly, what kind of Maniac sits on a toy Motorcycle with a 10 pound Pomeranian that moves back and forth when you put money in the machine.

Its no wonder why the man and his dog have Nobody standing within the Vicinity of them.

Food for thought from Dr. Harp Seal.  Talk to you later friends.

Day 377 here in Puerto Rico

Sammy on January 22nd, 2016

Good evening friends.

Thank you for stopping by. Its always appreciated. Day 377 here in Puerto Rico. Now is that a number or what ?  Today is day 65 since we rescued Rocky off the streets on November 19th, 2015.  That’s an even better number.

We hope everyone had a nice week. Its nice to throw the hat and coat on the rack until Monday. So we hear there is a big storm coming to the Northeast.  Hopefully the media is blowing it out proportion like they love to do. Nonetheless it always makes sense to play it safe. The media loves drama even if wrecks people’s lives sometimes. Pretty pathetic actually. Anyway that is there business.

Our business is to deescalate negativity and escalate positive progress. If there is no progress, then we just need some patience. What we don’t do is walk backwards and into the storm again.

So its Friday night, and the freedom in the air is beautiful.  We have no boundaries on the weekends. What shall we do, or not do if one desires.  No boundaries in a constructive way I mean of course.  No boundaries does not mean blacking out for 3 days and nights and waking up in strange places. So take that “freedom” point I made with a grain of salt.

OK, lets kick this weekend off with two positive Notions.

1. If I can’t control what people think about me, why would it let it bother me. That’s like voluntarily sending ourselves to prison.  What any of us do that ? No, we would not.

2. If your week did Not go that well, try Not to ruminate on it. If you do your getting kicked in the butt twice, wasn’t once enough ?  Its over, try to let it go. With a good night sleep you’ll feel refreshed by tomorrow morning.

Henry bringing in the evening on January 21st, 2016

Goodnight everyone. This is Jessica writing to you tonight. I hope this note finds you all well and enjoying your evening. .

It’s been very busy over here with school and trying to sell Moms apartment. The day starts early and ends late , with no real reprieve until I slide to into my bed at night. I’m sure most of you can relate. Every night I say I will go to bed early , and every night when the kids are finally sleeping, I find myself basking in the silence and peace of some alone time. In the blink of an eye Im into the wee hours of the morning. It’s still one of my resolutions to have earlier nights. Hopefully I’ll get around to that soon.

I’m sure everyone’s heard about the snow storm that’s heading for the east coast this coming weekend. There’s been basically no snow at all this year where we live, so to be honest, I’m looking forward to it. The problem of course will be traveling in it. The race is on to get a hold of snow gloves and pants for the children so that we can all go sledding. The snow brings out the big baby in me. Yahoooooo.

Our deepest prayers go out to all of the people and animals that have no place to find shelter and warmth in this very cold weather. We can only imagine what they’re suffering throughout these colder seasons. May God bless these souls and keep them safe. No one should ever have to go through that.

No lives will go in vain. No pain will go unnoticed. Amen.

With love,

Animal Kindness

Good evening friends.

Thanks for dropping by tonight. Its great to be here with everyone on January 20th, 2016. We hope everyone had a great day. Day 375 here in Puerto Rico.

Sammy & Family prays for our animal friends around the world. It saddens us a great deal with the constant struggles they endure. Life is hard enough on them.  The last think they need is the deck being even further stacked against them.

Is so apparent that animals are angels walking amongst us. Animal lovers know this.  We don’t think this, we know this.  The path to a better world flows through the Humane treatment of all Animals.

No lives will go in vain, no pain will go unnoticed. Dr. Harp Seal for Sammy & Family.
