I originally hand drew a picture like this so I decided to digitally reproduce it. This is a normal reaction for Makani when it starts raining.The minute he feels the first drop of water fall from the sky, he makes a force field with his necklace and he waits it out, only leaving when he’s sure the rain has stopped. If he doesn’t have his necklace, he goes running like a bat out of hell to find shelter. Charlotte doesn’t seem impressed with this. When she got caught in this situation, she pleads for him to basically stop being such a pansy with water. He refuses and simply responds with saying “I’m NOT getting taken down by something that takes up sixty percent of my body!” (As water takes up sixty percent of a normal dog’s body) She tries to convince him into walking around with the force field instead of just sitting in one spot. He quickly said that he would indefinitely loose his concentration and that the force field would go down. He exclaimed that he couldn’t take a chance. She also tried to convince him into teleporting them to somewhere else, but he simply replied with saying that teleporting them somewhere would require even more concentration and that it would result in the same thing. He stated that the simple force field was all he could manage at the time, the only thing he was sure that he wouldn’t loose concentration with. When the rain stops, Makani usually only responds with a nervous laugh before he teleports the both of them somewhere else.Though Charlotte seems annoyed by his fear, she usually attempts to look past it. ©
