Hello there. Happy Saturday. It is a heavenly day in NYC today. Thank you for all the “ Hangover “ movie comments today. Please make sure to click “ see more “ so you can read the whole reading. We learn a lot from movies. It’s easy to brush things off and say, “ it’s just a movie,” but when you think it through, you realize somebody wrote that with their own thoughts. Today I happened to catch some of the movie “ Life of Pi “ and quoted something from it on Dr. Harp Seal’s Page. The quote was “Tending to his needs gives my life Purpose.” Of course we all know he is referring to the tiger on the boat with him. I brought this up as a result of what we wrote about 2 or 3 days back. We talked about feeling like an outcast or feeling lonely and the things they have lead to. As the quote in the movie suggests, everyone needs to feel purpose and some hope if you will. This teenage boy who just lost his whole family found focus in taking care of this Tiger.
The movie’s reminder; when it seems unbearable, reach your hand to someone else; be it a person or animal, and you will start feeling better. It takes faith sometimes knowing you will get to the other side even though you might not see it. I guess what I’m saying is, somebody out there needs your lead.
Friends, we have spoken to someone out of FL recently looking to participate in small dog rescue centers and such. She is located in South Fort Myers near Estero and Bonita Springs, about forty minutes north of Naples. Please email me if you have any information that maybe can assist her. My email is smith7024@yahoo.com.
As always we acknowledge all the animals out there who do not know it’s Saturday. They know no weekend nor mid week. Everyday is the same struggle for them. Let’s pray for these courageous creatures. Life shouldn’t be this hard for them and we must always ask for easier paths for them.
We remind people involved in anything like the following and not limited to; Seal Clubbing, Dog Fighting, Trunking, Bull Fighting, Rooster fighting, Bear Baiting, Bear Dancing, Monkey dancing, dolphin slaughters like the one in Japan right now, or where in certain countries in Europe when a young male becomes a man, they go out and slaughter baby whales and dolphins to show they have graduated to manhood. You may get away with it in this life, but this life is short, and these lives won’t go in vain. All of these lives mean something to us. Animals are not destined for these acts. These are acts of evil and these people should seriously stop this now.
Moving on to our friends; pigs, cow & chickens, and so many others. What more is there to say, all of them deserve better. Life imprisonment for no crime and a painful death is just about the worst thing people can do.
No lives will go in Vain, no pain will get unnoticed.
Amen. Love Sammy & family
