Prayers for Maryann and A.J August 20, 2013

1017415_671165426246990_1748231654_nGoodnight dear friends. We hope you are doing well on this Tuesday evening. Sammy & Family had a great day today filming in NYC. We should have some fun material for you to watch very soon.

Prayers going out tonight for our friend Maryann, who’s baby AJ is still recuperating from having a feeding tube placed in her twice within the past months. Maryann’s Shelti, Shelbie, has been vital in helping her care for AJ. Shelbie has been watching AJ very closely and always stays near to her. She even leads AJ down the ramps to the yard. She is a very smart little girl. Shelbie recently had some tests done and results detected lyposarcoma. She will be undergoing surgery on Thursday. They are hoping and praying that it can be surgically removed and that it hasn’t spread.

God please watch over Shelbie. We pray that her surgery goes well and that the removal of this tumor will mean the end to her illness. God have mercy on this precious little angel. Heal her and let her know no suffering. Dear God comfort Maryann. God bless this very special family.

More prayers being sent to one of our dearest friends, Jeanny, her beloved son Zach, and his little boy “Bear.” Bear is 11 yrs old and he had to undergo surgery yesterday to remove his bladder stones. His dad Zach absolutely adores and treasures him and Jeanny loves him beyond words. Naturally his family was worried sick about this surgery but he made it through and he is okay, thank God. Bear is an absolute angel who brings so much happiness and love to all of them. He is absolutely delicious. You cannot even look at this boy without smiling. We are so happy to know that Bear is now home with Zach and recovering. He is so important to his family and its easy to see why. God bless Bear, Zach, Jeanny and all those who love him. God protect Bear and keep him well. God Bless their family.

Small changes in our diet, wardrobe and the products that we use will mean the difference between life and death to so many of these precious angels. Let us do our very best to save as many lives as possible.

No lives will go in vain. No pain will go unnoticed. Amen.

Prayer for Valerie and Angel Shelby August 19, 2013

1150175_670577549639111_97647170_nHello friends, we are wrapping it up early tonight. Sammy has a big video shoot tomorrow. We can’t wait to share it with you all. We have decided to name our new member of the family Patrick. And yes, we named him after Patrick Swayze, a good man who is very missed. Thank you to our friend for raising this idea for a name after seeing our caption, great job. Prayer below.

Good night friends and family. Another Monday has come and gone. The weather has cooled off and September is around the bend.

Our new little boy is doing great ! The boys love him and he’s already using the wee wee pads. We are so happy that God has sent this little angel into our lives. We thank you all for your loving messages for him. Day by day he will realize more and more that he is finally home, and very loved.

We have a prayer request tonight from our friends, Valerie and Angel Shelby. Their very special Veterinarian, Dr. Pete Vellutini, in Rocklin California, is very very sick and he needs our strongest prayers for healing. He has spent his entire life serving and healing so many precious animals. He is a wonderful soul, a very loving family man and a great friend. What a beautiful imprint he has made on this world. Only the most gentlest of hearts, do as Dr Vellutini has done.

Dear God, comfort and bless him. Please heal this man who has done so much for your defenseless angels. Take away his pain. Dear God, show him the same mercy that he has shown others in his own life. Keep him close to your heart for all that he does and all that he means to so many.

More prayers are going out for our dear friend, Louisa Cuadros, who will be undergoing surgery tomorrow. Dear God, carry Louisa through this. Send her comfort and healing and spare her any pain. Let her know that you are always by her side. Send your angels to guide her surgeon and bring her home again. We are sending love to you, Louisa. You are not alone. God is watching over you.

Small changes in our own lifestyles, our diet, wardrobe and the products that we use will mean the difference between life or death for so many millions of animals. Let us work together, to save as many lives as we can. What could be more rewarding than to spare the suffering of an angel? One by one, we can make a difference.

No lives will go in vain. No pain will go unnoticed. Amen.

Welcome home Patrick August 18, 2013

1185629_670010546362478_790468431_nGoodnight everybody. We hope that your weekend was a great one. As we approach the end of August, let us make sure to enjoy these final days of summer.

I want to take a moment tonight to talk about depression. Depression affects millions of people every day. It is not something to be ashamed of. Depression is an illness. It doesn’t mean that you are “crazy.” Depression is a human condition. It is more common than you realize. Many people that suffer from depression are afraid to admit it for fear of the stigma associated with it. When you are depressed, it can feel bottomless. It can make you really believe that things are hopeless. But they are not.

It’s important to intellectualize the fact that depression, although it may not seem it, cannot kill you. Remember, even in the depths of your darkness, you are not alone. God is always with you and there is always hope. Just as you would never give up on a loved one, you must never give up on yourself. Depression is just another fight that you can, and will win.
A brighter day lies ahead for you. You are in this life for a reason. There is a very important purpose for each of us being here. That is precisely why God created you. We must forge ahead and make it through until the end.

It is with great happiness that we welcome a new addition to Sammy & Family. He is 11 months old and has spent almost a year of his life in a pet shop waiting for a home. He has watched and waited as other dogs were chosen when he was not, poor baby. His price was reduced and reduced. Scott and Vanessa fell in love with him and decided to adopt him. How could anyone not adore this precious boy. It’s frightening to think about what would have happened if they did not take him home today. He is an absolute angel and the boys love him!! We are blessed and very grateful to have him join our family. Welcome home baby boy!
Thank you all so much for your name suggestions. There are so many great ones. We will announce his name very soon.

No lives will go in vain. No pain will go unnoticed. Amen.

Prayers for the beautiful and innocent creatures August 17, 2013

994896_669473213082878_1847938092_nGoodnight dear ones. It’s Saturday night. We hope that you’re all having a wonderful weekend. Enjoy yourself to the fullest. Try not to let anything stressful enter your mind. This is your chance to rejuvenate before the week ahead. Take advantage of it.

If you’re going out for the evening, please stay safe. Always travel in groups, especially women. Always be aware of your surroundings. Stay alert at all times. If you’re going to be drinking tonight, never leave your drink unattended. It’s very easy for someone to slip something into your drink, and that can be very dangerous for you. If you’re going out on a blind date, it’s always best to meet that person in a public place. It’s best not to get into the car of someone you dont know. Start out by meeting them half way in your own car. That is the safest way. And please remember not to drink and drive, or text and drive. Both of these things can be deadly. Your life, and the lives of others, mean too much.

If you find yourself alone on the weekends, do not feel badly about that. It is much better to be alone than in the wrong company. Too much stigma has been associated with being alone. Being alone does not mean you are lonely. You can still enjoy any activity that you want on your own. If you’ve been wanting to see a certain movie, or go out to a certain restaurant, don’t be afraid to enjoy those things on your own. You can even bring a book or a laptop to a restaurant if you want to. You never have to miss out on any moment of enjoyment just because you don’t have company. You’d be surprised how pleasant being just in your own company can be. Treat yourself. Go out and enjoy the things that make you happy. Don’t miss out on a single thing that you want. Even if you can have company, its very important to have some time by yourself and to be comfortable that way. You no longer have to “need” someone else. You can now love someone or enjoy someone’s company without “needing” them when you are comfortable being on your own.

Many prayers going out tonight for all of the beautiful and innocent creatures that we are blessed to share this earth with. There are so many animals that need our help. Without a voice, they cannot ask for our help. Still they need us. They are defenseless against the atrocities being committed on too many of them. Let us never forget these angels that are being hunted for “sport”, abused, tortured, enslaved and murdered. It’s happening to countless numbers of them, even as I write this. Can you imagine what this must be like for them? Can you imagine the depths of their fear and suffering? This is not what God had planned for them. Animals were sent to this world to teach us love with no conditions. To teach us devotion and loyalty. They are a gift to us, and should always be treated as such.

Small changes in our diet, wardrobe and the products that we use, can mean the difference between life and death for millions of these precious angels. Make sure to read the labels on the items you are buying and consuming. Educate yourself on where these products come from. Do your very best to try and make sure that no animals have to suffer for the making of those products. They are counting on us. Let us work together, to save as many lives as we possibly can.

No lives will go in vain. No pain will go unnoticed. Amen.
