Good evening dear ones. We hope this post finds you and your loved ones well. The weather has finally cooled off. It’s been over three years since I’ve seen the fall and winter, so please forgive me for being too eager. They are my favorite seasons. I’m looking forward to seeing my children’s faces, when they see the changing leaves and the falling snow for the first time. I am so grateful to be back home in New York.
We want to send special prayers out tonight for Portia, in Nova Scotia. Portia has passed away and we pray together for her family. We pray for their comfort at this unbearably painful time. God bless Portia, who is now an angel, and her family who has been left behind and devastated by her loss. Please God, keep them close to your heart and give them the strength that they need to go on.
We go on to pray for a precious baby deer named “Giggles,” In Wisconsin. A very caring family found giggles and they were worried that she had been abandoned by her mother. The family brought Giggles to the St. Francis no- kill animal shelter to try and help her. Wisconsin law forbids the possession of wild life, so workers there were caring for giggles and made arrangements for her to be picked up and taken to the wildlife reserve.
One day before Giggles was set to be transferred to the reserve, a swat team of approximately 9 fully armed officers, raided the no-kill shelter looking for Giggles. They even had a search warrant. Apparently, they received two phone calls from neighbors, telling them that the baby deer was being kept at the shelter. For one whole week they watched this shelter, taking Arial pictures, as well as many other ways. All for this precious baby deer. When they came in, one of the workers there explained to them that the deer was set to be picked up the next day. But his words fell on deaf ears.
The fully armed officers went into the barn and when they came out, they were carrying Giggles in a body bag. They had killed her, despite being told that she was being moved. When the worker there asked how and why they would do this, their answer was “policy.” We think this is totally disgusting.
The Department of Natural Resources Supervisor, Jennifer Niemeyer, answered complaints by stating that the law requires DNR agents to euthanize wild animals because of their “potential danger.” What a total disgrace and a complete disregard for life. An innocent baby dear murdered for “policy.” The no-kill shelter plans on suing. We pray for Giggles because this angel was not even given a chance to live. God bless this baby deer.
We wanted to mention something that came to our attention a little while back. There are monkeys being transported to the US, specifically to be placed in an experimental lab and tested on. Most will suffer and die there. What a horrible fate for these poor innocent monkeys. We want to do our best to let our voices be heard when it comes to this very sad life for these monkeys. The fight continues to stop airlines from transporting primates. There is one company in particular that has been suspended but is currently taking part in this, China Southern. Not only are they transporting these primates to certain death, they are being kept in unthinkable conditions. They are imprisoned in small wooden crates in the cargo of the plane. It is so important that China Southern is made aware of the outrage of the public, for what they are doing and taking part in. Here is the contact information for the airline. Let us tell them to stop transporting primates.
These monkeys are suffering so many atrocities. In China and other countries, innocent defenseless monkeys are being abused and tortured, while being forced to dance, ride bikes and act and dress like humans to entertain people on the streets. These little monkeys are being chained by the neck 24 hours a day for profit and for entertainment. If they fight it, they are being tortured, and many times killed. This is so completely disgusting. What can be said of the men and woman doing these horrific things to these monkeys? They are monsters, pure and simple.
God please end the suffering of these precious beings. Animals are not ours to abuse, so that they can be used for our “entertainment.” God please set them free and stop this torture. God bless these angels.
.
All of these stories of animal abuse and torture, from all over the world, are so horrific. Who could possibly inflict pain upon an angel? Have no doubt in your mind that God sees all things. Have no doubt that each life will be accounted for.
Small adjustments to our lifestyle, our food and wardrobe can mean the difference between life and death to millions and millions of innocent animals. They need our help. Let us do our best to save as many lives as possible.
Helpful numbers below in regards to airlines and these monkey’s being transported.
No lives will go in vain. No pain will go unnoticed. Amen. Goodnight everybody.
Love from,
Jessica Lee Smith,
