Prayers for Patricia Paulin and Riley August 5, 2013

1146592_663124363717763_239485601_nGoodnight dear friends. Mondays are tough but we’ve made it through another one. We hope that you are all doing well and that you have arrived home safely for the night.

Very special prayer requests tonight are going out for our dear friend, Patricia Paulin and her little boy “Riley,” who is in the hospital after suffering a seizure. The doctors say that Riley’s vital signs look normal right now but he needs our prayers. Naturally Patricia is very worried about her little boy. Seeing your little one have a seizure is a very scary thing. When you love someone as much as Patricia loves Riley, it’s agonizing to watch your baby going through something as terrifying and unpredictable as a seizure. It is devastating to know that there is nothing you can do to help him or to stop the seizure.

We send our love out to Patricia and ask God to comfort her. We pray for little Riley and ask God to make him well again. Please God heal Riley. He is deeply loved and very much needed. Keep fighting little boy. We are all rooting for you. God bless you, Riley and God Bless Patricia. Bring her baby
boy home to her again.

Those of us who have a pet understand what a gift their love and devotion is. We know that their love is totally unconditional and their loyalty is second to none. We give thanks to God for sending these angels into our lives. There is just no love or friendship that can compare to this one. All that we can do is try and do our best, to truly deserve the love that we have been granted.

It’s hard to imagine all of the precious animals that still remain in cages and shelters waiting for a home and waiting to love someone and be loved in return. That is all that these angels want, love. If you have room in your heart and in your home, the best decision you can ever make is to bring an angel home with you. You will be forever grateful for the love that you receive and you will also save a life. What could be more valuable than that? What could be more priceless?

Small adjustments to our diet and wardrobe will mean the difference between life and death for millions and millions of animals. Inform yourself as much as you can about where your food clothing and cosmetics come from. Read the labels carefully and do your best not to take part in any product that causes suffering to an animal. If we buy these products less, the demand will be lower and lives will be saved. Together we can make a difference in the lives of these innocent creatures.

No lives will go in vain. No pain will go unnoticed. Amen.

Be who you are and never apologize for it August 4, 2013

999561_662606320436234_885499600_nGoodnight everyone. We hope that you got some time to relax this weekend. Its important to refresh and revitalize ourselves before the start of a new week. It’s very important to get rest when you can. It’s good for the mind and the body.

There are so many things that need our prayers. There are so many animals and so many people around the world who have been left without hope and have no joy in their lives. Let us always remember to pray for those that are suffering. So many living beings go without love, shelter and a feeling of safety. So many are prisoners of an empty life. Without hope, the world is full of strangers and life can be cruel. There are too many that live everyday, afraid and alone. No one deserves any less than another. All souls are meant to know love and safety. All souls are equal in the eyes of God. No one should have to fight to stay alive or know the deep hollow pain of hunger.

We pray that all of God’s creatures are treated equally and with gentleness. We pray that all can experience the gift of love in their lives. We pray for hope for the hopeless. We pray for nourishment for the hungry. And for the ones roaming the streets with no shelter, we pray for a place to call “home.”

There is always something that we can do to help others. Being kind is a priceless gift that we can give, with no cost to ourselves. As a matter of fact, helping another in need brings invaluable rewards. When you offer yourself to another, you have also gained something. You are a part of a larger movement toward a better world. You can be an example for others to follow. Make it your goal to do what you can to bring joy and compassion into the lives of those whose path you cross.

We all have moments in our lives when we have doubt and we feel broken. It is essential to keep hope in your heart, no matter what comes your way. The key is always remembering that quitting is never an option. God wants to see you overcome your challenges and keep on going. No matter what the situation in your life, you can find a lesson to be learned in it. In Good times and bad, there is always something to be learned and more ways to grow.

Never allow negative people and difficult circumstances make you cynical. Never allow dark forces around you make you question who you are. Remain true to what you know is just, and what you know is right. Always remain fair in your thinking and approach each day and each living being with an open heart and an open mind. Never allow hate to enter your heart. Hate and intolerance have no place in your heart and only work against the common good of all living things, including your self.

Most of all, be you. Be just who you are and never apologize for it. You were created by God for a very special purpose. Each life on this earth is needed and has a reason to be here. Never let anyone convince you differently. Accept yourself with love, even if you are surrounded by those who do not. Take care of you, because you are one of God’s perfect creations. Just the way you are is how God intended you to be. Love yourself always, because you are a part of him. That is the most important lesson in this lifetime. Love yourself. Believe in yourself, always.

Prayers are going out tonight for the millions of animals that are still being hunted, caged, neglected, abandoned and murdered. This needs to end. This genocide needs to be stopped. What could be more beautiful and more pure than the love and devotion that these gentle creatures offer us? What could be worse than inflicting pain upon an angel? It’s truly unfathomable. God help them. God protect them.

Minor adjustments to our diet and wardrobe are small for us but they can mean the difference between life and death for millions of these precious creatures. If we can start with small steps, day after day, we can make a difference. Together we can save countless lives from unimaginable suffering.

No lives will go in vain. No pain will go unnoticed. Amen.

Never shop for a pet at a pet store or boutique August 3, 2013

998464_662082720488594_36895425_nGoodnight dear ones. It’s Saturday night. Please be careful out there if you are going out for the night. Never drink and drive or text and drive. Your life and the lives of others are too important.

Every day we see pictures and hear stories of cruelty being inflicted upon animals all over the world. These defenseless angels are being experimented on, tortured, murdered for “sport” and tossed out and abandoned like road side garbage. As animal lovers, we cannot fathom treating them this way. We know very well that this is a total abomination. And yet it goes on, every day and more precious lives are lost.

The suffering that these animals are enduring is beyond comprehension. Whether the law says you can or can’t hurt an animal has nothing to do with our own responsibility toward what is right and what is just. It is never okay to inflict pain upon an animal. It is also never okay to watch another causing them pain and to look on and do and say nothing. To say nothing is to silently consent to something. If you see an animal being mistreated, say something and do whatever it is that you have to do to stop it. These angels are counting on us to be there voice.

An important reminder to all, never shop for a pet at a pet store or boutique. These stores keep puppy mills thriving and they keep the animals that are suffering in these puppy mills, living as prisoners. Please do not take part in this torture. There are too many unwanted animals waiting in shelters and rescue organizations for a family and a place to call home. If you prefer a certain breed, there are rescue organizations that have the breed that you are searching for.

Most of the animals in puppy mills are living as slaves. They receive no love, no human touch and no freedom. They are kept in horrific conditions and locked in cages day and night. They are removed from the cages only to breed and when they can no longer breed, they are murdered, as they are no longer “useful.” This is the nightmare that these precious being know as “life.” They are afraid, they are alone and they are suffering. They have no hope and no joy. No living being should ever go through what they go through.

We can help them. One person at a time, small adjustments to how we live our lives, what we eat and what we wear will mean the difference between life and death to millions and millions of them. Finding alternatives to meat and animal products is how we can begin. Read as much as you can about how your meat gets to your plate. Read about where your fur coat comes from or your leather bag. By becoming informed, you will realize how much suffering is taking place, due to our choices in clothing and food. If the demand is lessened, it will make a huge impact on the lives of these innocent animals.

In today’s grocery stores, there are so many delicious alternatives to eating meat. Try them and you will see that you won’t have to miss anything. Portabella mushroom burgers, instead of beef, Tofurky instead of turkey, these are the things that will not only keep you healthier and living longer, but they will save lives. Nothing is more valuable than saving a life. One step at a time, gradual changes, we can do it. Let us do our very best to save as many lives as we possibly can.

No lives will go in vain. No pain will go unnoticed. Amen.

Prayers going out for Laurel and Miss Luci August 2, 2013

1005662_661653460531520_1161142326_nGoodnight everybody. Welcome to the weekend. The days of summer are swiftly coming to an end. We hope it was a memorable one for you and your loved ones. Soon it will be back-to-school for the little ones and the weather will be changing. Enjoy the warm weather while you can.

Prayers are going out for our dear friend, Laurel and her precious “Miss Luci.” Miss Luci is a 16 year old peek a poo. She has been suffering from kidney disease for a while now. Her kidneys have improved a bit, but now she has developed pancreatitis. Miss Luci also has a very painful and infected tooth, but doctors cannot perform surgery to remove the tooth until her pancreatitis clears up . This poor baby is having a hard time eating.

Laurel is understandably worried about her little girl. Miss Luci is deeply loved by Laurel and they need our prayers. Dear God please help Miss Luci. Please take away this little angels’ pain. Heal her and restore her to herself again. She brings so much joy to her family. Please God, comfort Laurel in her worry. Keep Miss Luci and Laurel close to your heart. God bless them.

More prayers are being sent out tonight for our friend Suzanne Leigh and her beloved Cocker Spaniel, Jazzy. Jazzy crossed over the rainbow bridge into heaven, only a couple weeks ago. We know that Jazzy is forever young and happy on the other side and will one day be reunited with Suzanne again. We send blessings and love to Jazzy.

We pray for Suzanne, as we know how incredibly painful this time is for her. Suzanne, Jazzy will never be far from you. He knows how much you love and miss him and he loves you just as much, now that he’s crossed over. Jazzy is in your heart forever and no one can ever take that away from you. Please take comfort in knowing, that even death cannot separate us from those that we love.
We send you love, Suzanne. We pray for your strength.

Friends, there are so many things that we can do to help these beautiful creatures. We need to be a voice for them because they don’t have a voice of their own. We need to fight for them because they cannot fight for themselves. Everyday, the genocide on animals continues. Let us each do our part to stop it in any way that we can.

Small adjustments to our personal lifestyle, can make the world of difference. Alternative choices in our diet and wardrobe can mean the difference between life and death for millions and millions of these gentle angels.

Be wary of “palm oil.” Check the labels on the products that you use. Many animals are dying and suffering horrific deaths due to the production of palm oil. Certain types of palm trees produce large red fruit which are rich with oil. This palm oil was once considered to be a solution for global warming because it can be used to produce products of all kinds including foods, cosmetics and biodiesel which is a fuel that can be used instead of gasoline.

But it is not the solution that it was once thought to be due to what is taking place in some of the places where palm oil is produced. The worst repercussions of this can be seen in the tropical rainforests of Malaysia and Indonesia.

The ecosystems that are most harmed by the expansion of oil palm plantations are the rainforests and peatlands. Peat is needed to soak up water and prevent floods and it also stores large amounts of carbon. When peatlands are drained and more forest cleared by agriculturists using fire, this causes large-scale fires and mass destruction of the rainforests.

Greenhouse gas emissions also result when rainforest is cleared for oil palm plantations. Worse, oil palm plantations support very low levels of biodiversity, meaning most of the plants and animals once found in the rainforest must either move or perish. Oil palm plantations are not good for wildlife and endangered species like the orangutan, the Sumatran rhino, the pygmy elephant of Borneo, and the Sumatran tiger are all threatened by the development for oil palm.”

It’s easy to be uninformed about the products we use because of marketing. But please read carefully the labels of everything that you use or eat. Millions of animals are counting on us. Together we can make a differences. Too many animals are in danger and perishing every day.

No lives will go in vain. No pain will go unnoticed. Amen.

Prayer for Cynthia Cothren Bivens and Lane August 1, 2013

17738_661146053915594_1905381227_nGoodnight precious friends and family. Once again we are heading into the weekend. We hope that everyone has had a good week and that everyone has arrived home safely to their destinations.

We have an urgent prayer request tonight for our dear friend, Cynthia Cothren Bivens and her beloved best friend, Lane. This week, lane was told that she has very advanced stage cancer, which has now spread throughout her abdominal cavity. Doctors told her that she only has one week more to live. Can you imagine how terrifying this is to hear. God comfort her.

Understandably, Lane and her family and friends are devastated. Cynthia loves Lane dearly and has already gone to see her after hearing this news. Cynthia has a very close relationship to God and believes very strongly , as we do, in the power of prayer. No doctor or scientist can predict the impact of strong prayers. No doctor can say that miracles do not happen.

It is with this in mind that we go on to ask for a miracle for Lane. Nobody should ever be given a time limit. Hearing this news from a doctor can in itself, kill the human spirit. Lane, there is nothing that God cannot do. There is no person that can truly know when someone’s time is up. Don’t give up Lane. Keep fighting the good fight. Your family and friends love and need you so much.

Dear God, heal Lane. She is deeply loved and her family and friends can’t imagine a day without her. We pray for a full remission and a return to optimal health for Lane. May God hold Lane in his loving arms and take away her fear and pain. God bless her.

Dear God comfort Lane’s family and her friends, like Cynthia, who love her so much. Give them strength. Give them the knowledge to help Lane understand that there is always hope, even if medicine tells us that there is not. God Give them all comfort. Please help their beloved Lane.

More prayers are going out tonight for our friend Maryann and her little AJ. As we have mentioned before, AJ recently had a feeding tube inserted into her, to help her go on and thrive as best she can. This little angel is a true fighter. She struggles every day and still brings joy to everyone around her. We pray that AJ gets stronger every day and we pray for Maryann’s strength, as she journeys ahead with her little AJ. If love could heal this little Pomeranian, she would be in perfect health. Thank you Maryann, for being such a good Mommy to AJ. Surely AJ is still thriving because of your love. God bless AJ and Maryann.

And for all of the magnificent animals that inhabit this earth, we pray for an end to animal cruelty and torture. This is not what God had planned for his angels. Have no doubt that God watches very closely how these precious beings are treated.

Small adjustments to our own diet and wardrobe can mean the difference between life or death to millions of innocent animals. Let us do our best to save as many lives as possible. Together we can make a difference.

Hi, Scott Smith chiming in here for a moment. We don’t put graphic pictures up of the horrors animals experience. Please let my words illustrate for a moment. Lets just take pigs and red meat sources, be it from one animal or another. Here are 3 cases of history they live through all day, everyday. They are living through the Holocaust. They live in slavery and they experience genocide’s at all times. Please think about those terms. We would never let people do this again but we are and have been doing this to them forever. Please consider that. Tomorrow night we will write about palm oil used in foods and products and the unspeakable damage this is doing to animals and rain forests. This is yet another tragedy that need not exist. Tweaks, please small tweak.

No lives will go in vain. No pain will go unnoticed.

Friends, tonight’s prayers and thoughts will be focused on these deplorable exotic animal hunts. I would like to be transparent in advance of tonight’s writing; it will be extremely harsh and clear about this topic. We don’t curse on this page, nor will we. We are aware that young’ins traffic this page. Tonight we will be bringing some serious whip lash to these people and groups behind these evil acts. So just giving you a heads up that you probably don’t want your kids reading tonight’s writing. [/pullquote]
