Goodnight on day 374 here in Puerto Rico

Happy Days 1

Good evening friends.

Thank you for stopping by. Its great to be here with everyone tonight on January 19th, 2016.  I hope everyone had great day today, or at least not a bad one. If you had a bad one, sometimes a good night sleep restores our center and we start over fresh tomorrow.

A little house-keeping news item.  The past few months Sammy & Family went through years of our posts to find the best ones. Within those posts we took out one or two of the best thoughts inside the story. We have put together a Happiness tool kit comprised of 150 tools to immediately change our state of mind.  Now whether it changes your mindset to a happy one, or just makes your mindset a little better is entirely up to each person.

What i do know is this will set the bar on tools for happiness. These tools will be very practical and applicable for anyone at anytime of the day.

We will have an digital version and a physical book as well.  I am also considering an audio version, we’ll see on that. When this toolkit is on you in whatever form, its going to add to your confidence just from its presence alone. There will be a tool for pretty much every challenge someone may encounter.

I am 100 percent confident this is going to make people lives better.  And when people lives are better, so are animals lives.

Poppy Tuesday on January 19th, 2016

Poppy & Rocky Tuesday on January 19th, 2016

Good morning friends.

Happy Poppy Rocky Tuesday. A filled with Hope and Possibilities.  Remember, if Pops and Rocky can make it, anyone can. The decks were totally stacked against them. Then one day hope came shining through, and their lives and our lives changed forever.

Poppy and Rocky are so happy that they are happy about being happy. Exactly as it should be.

We have to remind ourselves to put on foot in front of the other, and Keep on Keeping on.

Let’s kick this day off with two positive notions.

1. Its not a question of “If” things will get better, its a question of “When” — So hang on.

2. If anyone is thinking of what other people think of them, you’re thinking upside down. Firstly, who cares ? Secondly, while you’re thinking about them, they’re Not thinking about you. Set yourself free. There are 6 billion people in the world. Millions of them want to be your friend.

Martin Luther King Day

Martin Luther King Day

Good morning.

In Observance of Martin Luther King day we wanted to post one of his countless great quotes.

Here’s the quote; “The time is always right to do the right thing.”

Is that powerful or what ? If somebody walked up to me on the on the street and said that, I would be speechless. That quote is practical, applicable to all our lives, and will remain timeless.

Sammy & Family salutes Mr. King for making the world a better place. The world will Never forget you.

Goodnight on the evening of MLK Day in 2016

MLK evening in 2016

Good evening friends.

Thank you for stopping by. Its great to be here with everyone. There were millions of posts throughout Social Media today on Martin Luther King. Each year I am reminded by the incredible things he said. Mr. King was such a visionary to speak like that so long ago.

Mr. King was killed at 39 years old on April 4th, 1968. And yet, every year we honor his life and all that he accomplished in it. I read many of his quotes today and am truly inspired right here today in 2016.

I want share with you one of my favorites of Dr. Kings.

Here’s the quote;  “Never, never be afraid to do what’s right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake”

Lets close out tonight by Saluting Dr. King for being the warrior he was for equality, compassion, and Peace. Rest in peace Mr. King.

Cause and Effect with respect to Animals

Cause and Effect

Good evening friends.

Thanks for stopping by. Its great to be here with everyone on January 17th, 2016.  We hope everyone had a a nice weekend.  I gather many people have tomorrow off as well for Martin Luther King day.

Lately i have been seeing more and more animal abuses on our platforms again. Some of the abuses are so incomprehensible, I feel like some of these people are not human.  The dog and cat meat trade throughout Asia, the Galgos dogs and Bulls in Spain, the Dolphins in Taiji Japan, the Seals in Canada, the Fur industry, the animal trappings all over the world, and so on and so on, makes me feel like maybe these people are some sort of aliens or something.  Who in the right mind would torture and torment animals to death. Isn’t taking their lives enough ?

I will say this out loud, if my survival ever requires inflicting that kind pain on innocent and defenseless animals, I would rather not survive. Sickly there are alternatives for much of what I listed above. But in the name of greed, hubris, cost cutting and vanity, people allow the ice to run through their veins.

Cause and effect is not witchcraft, its science.  What happens when people put that kind of evil into the world ?  The world hits us back with Earthquakes, Tornado’s, Hurricanes, Tsunami’s, Typhoons and Etc. And yes, it is related. Sadly when Mother Nature hits back, she’s random about it. Mother Nature doesn’t care if she takes a lot of innocent lives or not, she just wants to level the playing field.

Quotes from Dr. Harp Seal

1. “I Never got the email from God or Mother Nature saying people can decide which animals live, which animals die, and by what numbers”

2. “The Path to a better world flows through the humane treatment of all animals”

3. “Animal Equality is a tireless journey, there will be no retreat”

4. “None of our vanities are important enough to make any animals suffer whatsoever”

5. “The people attending sporting events that count on animals anguish and inevitable demise for entertainment, are as guilty as the people committing the act”

6. “If the Meek shall inherit the Earth, what will Animals inherit. Whose more meek than them?”

No lives will go in vain. No pain will go unnoticed. Dr. Harp Seal for Sammy & Family.

Rocky & Family on January 15th, 2016

Rocky boy kicks off this Friday

Good morning friends.

Rocky boy and I wanted to drop and say hello. What a glorious Friday this is. Friday always seems to show up right on time. Its great to be alive today on January 15th, 2016.

I get the feeling because today is the 15th of January, a lot of people will accidentally write “2015” on the checks they issue today.  Oh wait, people don’t write checks anymore, its all done online. Man am I silly boy to forget that.

OK, lets kick this Friday off on a positive note.

We need to be opened minded that Today could be a great day. When we are open minded our energy resets inviting new possibilities into our lives. Now if you woke up on the wrong side of the bed, shake it off and make an effort to be an open minded.  Let’s give today a chance. Nobody has the right to ruin your day unless its you yourself.

See tonight friends.  Day 370 here in Puerto Rico. And its day 58 since we rescued Rocky. Don’t mess with me and my numbers, its all I got, lol.   Peace and Love, Scott Smith for Sammy & Family.

The Planet and Animals

Animals and the Planet

Good evening friends.

Thank you for stopping by. Its nice to have so many animal lovers get together each night. Much of the world sees animals like a couch or a piece of furniture in their house. Its mind boggling. Sometimes I think I live amongst aliens.

Please allow me to quote one of the most brilliant people that ever lived on this planet. He had a joke with respect to people’s arrogance.  His name was George Carlin.  When people had the hubris to sit around and talk about how we have to handle the needs of the Planet better.  He used to say; “The Planet has been around for billions years and is going to be just fine. The plant has seen specie after specie become extinct. The Planet is Not going anywhere, We Are”, lol. Brilliant.

Its kind of like walking around a Crystal Meth clinic and asking the recovering addicts if they would like some free Crystal Meth tonight and thinking none of them will take it.  Next thing you know you’ve made the full rounds and you’re out of inventory with tons of Pre Orders.

Where am I going with this ? For all the people out there who were taught that animals are less than us, you’ve been taught wrong. The only thing it means that we are smarter than animals, is that we are smarter than animals. It means Absolutely Nothing else.

If the world is treating you cold and unkind, don’t take it out on animals. They actually have received the same treatment you have since the beginning of time. Animals actually understand your pain.

Dr. Harp Seal here. None of our Vanities are important enough to make an animal suffer for our glamour. If you don’t like the way you look, go see a shrink, or get a face-lift. Don’t have an animal tormented so you can wear a Fur coat and be talked about at a party.

The God that Sammy & Believes in does Not condone abusing animals for any reason whatsoever. Not for Vanity, Not for Entertainment, Not even to improve people’s lives.  Experiment with humans, leave the animals alone.  Enough is Enough.

No lives will go in Vain, no Pain will go unnoticed. Dr. Harp Seal and Scott Smith for Sammy & Family.

Samantha Bennet the Painter

Good afternoon friends.

We have a very special feature today on “The Good News Channel” — Say hello to Samantha Bennet. Shes a very talented and successful artist also know as; “PainerSam.  Samantha’s story is a story of heroism and resiliency. Through all her trials and tribulations, her art always bridged her back to life.

Before we start, I emailed Samantha last night telling her how moved I was by this story. As everyone knows we have featured all kinds of artists from all over the world. And we salute them all. But Samantha’s personal and artistic journey has been a story of triumph.

Samantha and Rescue

Samantha and a rescue.

Here’s a direct quote from her;  “My scars are my story and I am proud of them. I embrace the curious stares of strangers. Most of all, I hope they stare at my art and see that I am following my dreams.”      — Story Continues below;

My Mona Lisa

Samantha’s Mona Lisa, created for her first solo exhibit titled “Scar Portraits and Beyond.”– Mixed media Oil Painting.

Samantha’s passion for art did come from conventional ways. At just nine Months old, Samantha survived bacterial meningitis. The disease resulted in some fingers, toes and half her right foot being amputated. As a result of such horror, she had many reconstructive surgeries during her early years. Spending much of that time recovering is where she was drawn to sketching people.
