Today’s feature is Sammy & Family’s special friend. Susan Rubin.

She is the producer and director of the show “From The Pound to The Penthouse  You can see it on JLTV ( Jewish Live Television ). We all know in the ELS community that dogs are angels walking amongst us. Well even angels need angels, Susan Rubin is a guardian angel and a voice for animals with a heart warming message for all our furry friends.  Below is link for the series’ amazing trailer which I LOVEDhttp://susanrubinproductions.com/tv.htm

I actually met Susan in November of 2014 and I’m very happy I did. After talking for an hour or two that night, I went home and said to myself; “wow, that’s one of those people you don’t forget” The way she spoke of animals and rescue was so impactful to me. It was very soothing listening to her voice. You will see what I mean when you watch the video in this article.

Susan’s personal rescues and fosters are number one the priority list. 100 percent of any funds go towards the rescued animals. Any donations are 100 percent tax delectable as it is a 501(c)(3). She has made quite the name for herself amongst celebrities and leverages their reach purely for the sake of animals. Glitz and glamour are not what she’s out for. Susan looking to rescue, rehabilitate, foster and adopt out to loving and caring homes.

Sammy & Family can unequivocally saySusan is on the front lines fighting for animal rescue, kindness and equality. We are 100 percent behind her. As we grow financially, she will be one of the organizations we fund.

Every two seconds a homeless pet is killed in our country. This is the show that will change that—with the help of celebrities. With every passing second, celebrities are opening their hearts and their homes to some of these shelter pets, taking them from the pound to the penthouse. “From the Pound to the Penthouse: Celebrities and Their Rescued Pets” is about how the lives of celebrities who seemingly have it all, are changed by the pets they have rescued and adopted. You’ll hear heart-warming stories and witness dramatic rescues. Go into the hearts and homes of America’s beloved personalities and see how the country’s underdogs (and their celebrity owners!) have become overwhelmed with happiness. In the end, you’ll know these rescued pets have in turn, rescued their people.  Ultimately, this show is about hope.

Each episode of “From the Pound to the Penthouse” will include the most heart warming emotional payoff: a short video clip of the rescued shelter pet with her new, loving, adoptive family. Through an interactive website, podcasts and other Internet tools, not just the one pet featured, but many homeless animals all over the country will be adopted EACH episode. “From the Pound to the Penthouse” will forever change the way people view shelter animals. This special program is already increasing the number of abandoned animals who are saved from death by being adopted into loving homes. Almost all of us have wanted to get a second chance, to make a difference and to be special. “The Pound to the Penthouse” can fulfill that desire for viewers, if only vicariously.
