The Year was 1983, a group of us were headed to North Beach in San Francisco,  we got stuck in a traffic jam in the Stockton tunnel just before midnight. At midnight, everyone started honking their car horns, the noise was deafening, echoing off the tunnel walls.  When that died down, some one turned on the car radio, soon more people did. And  then we were out of the car, dancing in the tunnel to Bruce Springsteen ‘ Born to Run. Wow, I can’t believe that was 30 years ago.
