“He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it.”

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”

“There can be no deep disappointment where there is not deep love.”

“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?'”

“The first question which the priest and the Levite asked was: “If I stop to help this man, what will happen to me?” But… the good Samaritan reversed the question: “If I do not stop to help this man, what will happen to him?””

The leader of the “African-American Civil Rights Movement” will always be remembered for the way he changed history. What is also very memorable is that King was nonviolent in his resistance, showing that you don’t have to use physical force to make some sort of change in the world.Even though Martin Luther King Jr. is in heaven now, he will continue to live on in his amazing accomplishments down here on Earth. This man brought about rights for african americans and changed America for the better! He was a true hero and he will never be forgotten!
