Goodnight everyone. We hope you have enjoyed your weekend and that you made some unforgettable memories with those that you love the most. We have a new week ahead of us. Let us make the most of it and take it on with a positive outlook. New opportunities await us.
We start out our prayers tonight for the animals. So many of these precious angels are suffering and struggling every day to survive in unthinkable conditions. As animal lovers, we understand the priceless value of the love of our pets. We know that they are a gift bestowed upon us by God himself. But too many of them go unloved. Too many are abandoned and left without hope. Too many of them are being tortured and murdered without reason.
These are sacred beings. These are living angels and they are not meant to be treated this way. This must end. We pray for these angels tonight and every night. We pray for a day when all animals are protected, safe and loved. This is what they truly deserve.
Together we can help them. Let us do our best to educate others on the brutal truth of what is being inflicted upon these beautiful creatures. Let us do our best to make changes in our own lifestyles, that can save countless lives. Small adjustments in our wardrobe and diet will mean the difference between life and death for millions of animals. Dear God, help us on our mission to protect your angels.
Prayers are going out tonight for our childhood friend Stuart and his family. We have asked for prayers for Stuart’s father before because of his history of cardiac issues. Stuart’s father passed away this week. Stuart and his family are heartbroken and they need our prayers. God bless Stuart’s father who leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love. We ask God to comfort Stuart and his family. This is an indescribably painful time. If you’ve ever lost someone that you love so much, than you understand what his family is going through at this time.
There are just no words to truly comfort those who have been thrown into the depths of grief. At these moments in our life, so many of us are left feeling as if we should’ve said more or should’ve done more in the time that we had with our loved ones. Many people hold regret in their hearts for not having said “goodbye” or “I love you.” It’s important to remember that we are all human and sometimes it is harder for people to say those words. This in no way means that our loved ones don’t know what is in our hearts.
Our love for each other is not defined by the moments right before our loved ones cross over to the other side. Our love for each other is the patchwork of a lifetime pieced together as a whole. If you have love in your heart, the departed ones know this. On the other side, in heaven, there is total understanding and wisdom. Those who have left this life understand and see our hearts more clearly even then when they lived amongst us.
The truth remains that even death cannot separate us, but for a moment in time, in the scope of eternity. We are forever bound to those who live in our hearts and part of them lives within us until we are reunited in a world that knows no death.
As I have mentioned before, upon the death of my own father, I turned my back on God. I stopped believing and I lost my faith. I worried about my father in a world without God. I worried about what was happening to him…was he afraid? Was he alone in the dark? What was happening to him? This way of thinking kept me awake at night for many years. I was afraid of living. I was afraid of dying. I was afraid of everything and I felt unprotected and alone.
That all changed in my early twenties. Just as I was at my lowest, my father came to me and God made his presence known to me. He showed me a glimpse of heaven and I felt the weight of the world lifted from my shoulders. Most people call me crazy when I speak of this experience. I think at one time I would’ve thought the same thing if I didn’t experience what I did that night for myself.
What I saw was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life. What I saw and felt was a warming light, like no other light I have ever seen on this earth. Everything in heaven was alive; the trees, the grass, the waterfalls, the rainbows. It was something so magnificent that it is virtually impossible to describe. There was no fear at all. There was only love.
Ever since that night, my eyes have been opened in a way that they never were before. Now I can feel my father around me all of the time. I have felt his hand in mine. I have felt him hold me and put his hand on my shoulder. I know he is with me and I know now that we have never been apart.
It is in no way just me. We can all feel our angels around us. We just need to open our minds and hearts to the simple fact that they are with us. This does not ease the pain when we lose someone but it is so important to understand that there is no real death. When we understand that we don’t have an end, it is easier to see what God wants of us.
What is your legacy? How will you be remembered? Let it be a legacy of love because that is a legacy that will live on, effecting generations and generations to come. Be kind to all that lives because that is what you will be remembered for. We cannot offer before God our degrees or our assets. We go to God with only our hearts and souls to show. Always remember that and keep that in mind in your everyday actions.
No lives will go in vain. No pain will go unnoticed. Amen.
Love from,
