Goodnight everybody. We hope you had a great weekend. Another week lies before us and we pray for a happy one and a safe one for all of our friends and family.
It’s such an unbelievable loss to not live in the same world now, than the one we ourselves and generations before us, had lived in. To think that we used to be able to take a simple bike ride down the road or run through yards with our siblings and be out for hours at a time, without any supervision. There is no doubt, that this is not the world we are living in today. Today we live in a world that inhabits monsters, as well as people like us and others that value life and have a God loving soul. As a child, as I’ve mentioned, I used to fear death from as young as I can remember. I use to have nightmares of “King King” and The great white shark in “Jaws”. The real monsters are the ones that walk among us on 2 legs. We may even know them but be deceived that they are not. In today’s world, it is hard to accept that our children will lose the innocence of believing that there is nothing to be afraid of in every Day life. We wish that they could have this gift of blissful “unknowing” for as long as they can keep it. But in today’s world and with the scattered monsters that do inhabit it with us, that is impossible. We must find some way of informing our children responsibly, that monsters are not what they’ve been shown in movies. Monsters can be male or female. One piece of advice I’ll never forget is, if a child is approached by an adult when they are alone, asking for anything , whether in a car or on foot, That child should move as far away from that person as possible. It is highly unusual for an adult to need directions or assistance from a child. They should always know that. Abductions of children is a rampant epidemic with really no cure. The only way to try and protect our children from the terrifying truth, is to raise awareness amongst them. God keep all the children safe. God help all the loving parents on earth that should never endure the horror of having a child abducted.
We begin our prayers tonight for a beautiful young life lost. Autumn Pasquale, only twelve years old, was taken from her bicycle right on the street, as she was out riding in the open daylight on Saturday. As most all children do, Autumn was simply playing her weekend away with no thought of anything else than laughter and joy. She has been missing since then. Tragically when Autumn was found, she was no longer alive. We pray for this angel and any fear or pain that she endured at the hands of nothing less than a monster. We pray for her family In their grief. Parents of children lost hold a special place in the eyes of God.
More prayers going out for our friend Ruby. Ruby is a Greyhound who has been missing for 3 months. Her loving and distraught parents have not tired in their search for her. The search for Ruby inspired the FB page “Ruby”. Please show your support in any way that you can. May she come home safely to the family that misses her so deeply.
Many many prayers going out tonight to our dear friends, the Lewis family, who is being tested so much right now. What a beautiful family these people are. Tonight we pray for two of their four legged babies, Peanut Pumpkin Pie and Dixie. I can assure you that these people are the closest things to angels that I’ve ever know. Their four legged family, is no exception to that. Even they’re animals make an impact for the better in this world. These two babies need to be healed and restored to perfect health. These dogs are needed by more than just the Lewis family. They are deeply loved.
We ask for special Prayers for all of the innocent dogs being rescued with cruelty in mind, then used as a tool for training, in the hideous world of dog fighting. These poor babies are used to teach the fighting dog how to kill, as bait. What an atrocity. What a total disregard for life. God save these dogs and grant them the life that they truly deserve. Put an an end to their suffering.
And to all of the animals, domestic and wild, being abused, neglected and abandoned, you are not alone. We pray for you tonight as we do every night. No lives will go in vain. No pain will go unnoticed. Amen. Love Sammy & Family
