Goodnight everyone. Thank you all for your encouragement and comments on our prayers. We all need prayers. Each and every one of us. It is our pleasure to say them at night. We are honored and humbled to be able to spread a movement of kindness in this life, in any way that we can.
Sometimes its hard to not lose faith because times are so difficult for so many. We are all human and questioning the meaning and the purpose of life, this is the human condition. We have all been there at some time in our lives. We have all made mistakes and we have all learned and gained tremendous wisdom from making them. But even in dark times, there is always hope to be found, things to be grateful for, blessings bestowed upon us that can never be bought.
Find gratitude within your heart for all of the beautiful things that life has given you, family, friends and loved ones, on 2 legs or 4. Some will never know these blessings. Some go without them. Let us pray for those hearts that feel empty and broken. Let us pray for hope for those who have lost it. Let us never forget how lucky we are.
Prayers are being sent out tonight for 12 yr old Bailey O’Neill, who passed away on March 3rd from injuries sustained to his head. Bailey was severely beaten by a group of his peers, right outside of his Philadelphia school. Following the beating, Bailey suffered seizures and had to be put into a medically induced coma. Doctors determined this week that Bailey was no longer showing any brain activity. No charges have been filed yet against those responsible for his death. The investigation is ongoing and the incident was caught on surveillance tape. They will be able to clearly determine the faces of those who committed this horrific act against this innocent child, who had his whole life ahead of him.
We pray for the strength of Baileys Parents and loved ones and we pray for Bailey, a beautiful, smart, vibrant little boy, taken by bullies. May God cradle Bailey in his arms and fill him with joy and laughter, in a world that holds beauty beyond our mortal comprehension. A place where there is no pain and no more cruelty. Until he is reunited with the ones who miss him the most. God bless this angel. Not another living soul should have to endure something like this, ever again.
As we’ve said before, there is no one more cowardly and filled with self hatred, than a bully. The bully usually does not work alone. The bully manipulates others to join him. On their own, a bully has no “power”. Together we must stop the bullies, one by one. Isolate the bully by not joining in and by speaking up in spite of the adversity you may face. Fight for those that find they cannot fight for themselves. Always look upon others with compassion. A world without empathy is inhumane. A world without warriors for good, is a dark one.
Awareness in schools is essential but fear on the part of school aged children may stop them from reporting abuse. We have to take more drastic measures to protect our children. We must start this at home. So many parents focus so much on competition, and worrying that their children will fit in. So many children with the wish to be “Popular” and “cool”. Let us teach our children kindness first and foremost. Let us teach them tolerance, acceptance and honor. Let us teach them to be soldiers for goodness and that God loves all living beings, regardless of their differences. We must all begin at home and teach by our example. Too many children have been lost to this continuous epidemic.
We pray for Gods most beautiful creatures, the animals. Big and small, domestic and wild, all over the world, there are animals being abused, abandoned, neglected and having deplorable acts committed upon them for sport, exploitation and fur. Such disregard for life. Such evil acts, for no purpose at all. To all of those animals tonight , we pray for you. We ask God to end your suffering and bring you the safety and love that you so deeply deserve. After all, angels deserve no less. No lives will go in Vain. No pain will go unnoticed. Amen. Goodnight friends.
